As someone who was diagnosed at 43, I relate so much to this comment. Most things, buttered toast included, aren’t worth the weeks of pain. Although, I have seriously considered a Dick’s Deluxe burger on a couple of occasions.

There’s only like 5 of those in this area (Seattle). The rest are Cyber trucks.

Being disabled is difficult, and I don’t want to downplay that. But just to give you a bit of hope: I’m happily married to an autistic guy and have two autistic kiddos (one is pretty severe). Keep an eye out for your people - they are probably looking for you too.

It’s like 1 of 2 days where the whole country shuts down. Even if a person doesn’t celebrate, they shouldn’t have to work (actually that makes it like so much worse to make the non-celebrator work on the holiday).

We should all be mad if any store makes their employees work on Christmas. That’s just an asshole move.

You get to do whatever you want with your money, but a business advertising is a really weird hill to die on. There are terrible small businesses and good established businesses. I think it is worth doing some extra research to find the nuance.
