Just don’t eat the burnt ones
I’ve currently got two vintage contractor saws sitting in my garage: a Craftsman 113 and a Powermatic 63. Both have beautiful cast iron tops and both have misaligned blades that I’ve spent hours trying to fix. I have PALS installed on both and for the life of me I can’t get the trunnion aligned properly. (Yes, this is a cry for help. plz help)
As a web developer who feels fairly knowledgeable of most things web, even I have a hard time wrapping my head around the Fediverse, how to use it, and the broader implications. If the folks that have been using it for more than the past week and a half do anything but inform and encourage, it will just drive away the people needed most to bring about widespread adoption.
I think it’s worth mentioning for folks new here that there is no “algorithm” as people typically think of with sites like Facebook and Twitter. There are no levers or dials being adjusted behind the scenes, just upvote counts and comments pushing content to the top.
