You have no idea about business expenses do you. I work in the events industry, corporations hold single evening events for their higher up employees for 10s of thousands in only technical expenses, before the venue asks for rent, or the catering etc. A single month of any basic service on the enterprise level starts from 5 grand.
it always irked me on a new account when I couldn’t comment in a subreddit because I didn’t have enough comment karma. How am I supposed to get it if I’m not allowed to comment.
I think the theory is that the power cable creates a magnetic field around it that could interfere with the ultra precise electronics and what we are looking at is shielding for it. It could be complete bullsh but there is scientific reasoning behind it. It’s for people who pay premium to reach that final 5% and I have some weird kind of respect for such passion. When you are paying north of tens of thousands of dollars for a system, the expensive cable is the least of your problems.
That can’t be said for people who pay several thousand dollars for a premium hdmi cable that is supposed to 4k-ify a full hd signal. That what constitutes as snake oil in my mind.
I dream of a world with a nsfw community on lemm.ee/c/smash
to be clear you mean more so the worth of a quest 2 rather than an index, right?
this comment went from sensible to taliban real quick.
why do people care about karma so much tho?
as an Estonian, about damn time. Such a silly topic to keep arguing over.
So that’s why I thought “local multiplayer” implies LAN, while what OP really meant is splitscreen multiplayer.
lan, local area network. I guess people see it differently.
I was a bit confused when you said local co-op. It implies 2 computers on the same local network(connected to the same router, no internet connection required). I think the term you’re looking for is split screen gaming.
When I looked at pictures of Spelunky games like Clonk and Liero popped into mind, I think there are options for split screen multiplayer in those games, they’re old school PvP games.
the problem with shareholders is that they always and forever need to see a chart that’s in a growing trend. That line is getting kind of stagnant there mate how you gonna please us? What makes this problematic is that there will be a finite number of users for this infinitely growing service, sooner or later growth will have to slow and this does NOT please the shareholder. Where are the gains bro? I was promised gains.
An interesting one I watched lately is Career Opportunities, but it’s intensely early 90s and almost requires a bit of a smoke session before watching if you’re into that kind of thing. Not an amazing story but really colorful and interesting art style. It’s almost in the realm of good because of how bad it is.
it’s not a reddit thing
I think the problem is in your head, apex is a relaxing game for me. Not that I wouldn’t take it seriously but I don’t invest anything into it mentaly.
It’s probably a coincidence but I managed to delete the account on old.reddit.com now about 1h later.
Well, there is a game that’s been designed specifically for that. Metal Hellsinger, you can play a demo for free. It’s a doom style shooter that rewards you for shooting and reloading to the beat of metal music, which is dynamic to how well you are doing and the situation. Really cool concept and really rewarding to get a combo going.
You can try mlem beta already, via the testflight app and a google search. Seems to be working great.
Wasn’t an attempt at that btw but I don’t think you care. It was meant to be more of a “oh boy let me tell ya” but I guess it didn’t convey too well. They said they don’t know anything about marketing costs. I was talking about business costs in general which is not the same thing and are unbelievably expensive just because they are enterprise level and not consumer. That’s why it shouldn’t be surprising if any service, like advertising, for a business is more expensive than you thought.
But please explain to me what grammar or punctuation has to do with any of this, or were you just trying to be offensive for the sake of it? Super relevant, super productive. This is the kind of thing people are happy to be leaving reddit isn’t it?
