Discovering fire was a mistake. Making rocks think was a disaster.

I dislike AI (LLM) generated output for a myriad of reasons, but there has been one use case I’ve found useful, as much as I hate to admit it, and that is digesting large volumes of text and summarising it or identifying passages in that text that match my description of what I want to find - generally a better outcome than simple keyword searching, and I can look at the bit it identified, which is not AI content…it’s just pointing me to the right part.
And this makes me wonder why Google photos has such a terrible search function.
I actually miss Encarta. It was obviously killed by Google earth/maps but it was one of the only maps that allowed you to search for a river and it would highlight the entire thing from source to mouth , which google has never done. It was a nice feature that let you see just how big a given tributary system really was, and it put things like the Danube into perspective

Nobody is going to arrest those pricks until they’re no longer protected

Protecting fascists ?

It turns out that some people never mature mentally beyond that point, but continue to get older each year nonetheless.
Until recently that sort of behaviour would have been quite a barrier to employment, but these days it’s pretty much a prerequisite.
#idiocracy was a documentary

I’m sorry that you’re allergic to information.

I think you may have misunderstood…it’s actually fool self driving.
Well he has lived in Texas his entire life.
Is it really made of oysters ?

The app talks to the servers, the servers talk to the robot

Found the American.

I would be really uncomfortable with a car where I had to touch a giant’s ass to make it go.

Journalists don’t verify anything these days, because their bosses are focused on being the first to publish. Doesn’t matter if it’s right or wrong, the article only exists to get the advertising to load.

And mind the gap

I have no way to know whether the USA really exists.

Yes, they tend not to come out in the heat, and turn up by the thousands as dusk arrives.
Just you
