That’s not remotely the point here.

That WAS the sale price. It’s $200 something dollars for the complete set of Stellaris normally, on 50% sale that’s still $100+ for everything. Pretty sure CKII was worse.
I mean, you say that, but a new player looking to get into Stellaris or CKII is looking at a $300 bill if they want all the content. In fact that’s what prevented me from getting into Stellaris, I own the base game, but when I discovered I’d need to shell out an additional several hundred dollars, even during a sale, for not only new species but just for base game mechanics, I stopped in my tracks.
Compare with Civilization, I own Civ V and Civ VI and all the released content for each, pretty sure I bought each of those for less than $20.
Impressive. Last game I had hours like that in was Dark Souls 2 round 10 years ago. I am shortly going to break my first 200 hours for Elden Ring though, the DLC will send me over the breakpoint pretty comfortably. Then I get to start my second character for real, now that I have all the content for them to explore.
Swang that thang brother, be proud of the progress. It’s not about the meat, it’s about the spirit that drives it.
I think this is all fair criticism. I played this game when I was 12, after all, and did mostly play the multiplayer after a single run through of the story.
Also important to note that I hadn’t actually played the mainline Prime games yet at that time, that probably had a lot to do with it.
With Primehack you can play the OG prime series (I think the Wii U version?) on PC with a controller for dual joystick control like a modern FPS, or even m+k. It also runs well on steam deck, I have it on mine. It’s very excellent, highly recommend.
I actually liked Hunters :c
I found Tunic to be a bit obtuse, but I’m usually a wiki gamer and that game really seemed like one where I should not do that. As a result I really didn’t know what I was doing for a good while. I’ve never had a game make me work so hard to learn to read before, and even that I only learned by cheating…
All that said though, fantastic game, 10/10, it feels like classic Zelda bred together with Hollow Knight. I do recommend it. If you’re going in blind though, be prepared to use your head and maybe also a pad of paper.
Best source is a reddit link, sorry.
I thought going in that people had to be overreacting about it, I know he’s a bit edgy and pretty clearly grew up on 4chan but it couldn’t be that bad.
Nah, it’s pretty bad.

Oh, sick, new Bringus post? I’ll be in my bunk.
Yeah I was really bummed to find this out along with all the nazi signposting that slipped past me because I couldn’t hear the dog whistle, he might be the only creator I’ve ever actually gone and unsubscribed to. Shame, too, because some of those videos were actually really good, credit where it’s due (even if that credit isn’t due to IH himself).
I do this for tomatoanus skits as well, those are usually pretty off the wall. My man has an entire storyline saga going on in his ad read sections.
Chucks and Vans are definitely not good shoes. They are stylish shoes, but the shoe itself is a piece of cloth over a piece of cardboard. No wonder you have bad feet, bro, you’ve been walking on trash.
I bought a pair of steel toe boots with good insole and arch support for about $85 three years ago and those things are still going strong. Comfy and durable. If you’ve got big feet or want nicer boots than me, that can range up to about $150, anything higher than that is designer bullshit. Don’t fall for a brand name.
Right, so Finland, France, Germany, Norway, New Zealand, Japan, Australia, Korea, Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy all don’t exist. Got it.
Yes, because naturally no other country in the world enjoys a similar level of prosperity without creating an underclass that they abuse for their profit.
We don’t need to print more money, we have more than enough money. We just need to recirculate the money we do have. There is plenty of money in the USA for most citizens to live a comfortable life without exploitation, but 80% of that money is buried in the pockets of corporations and 15% of the remaining 20% is buried in the pockets of billionaires.
Blame the fact that it’s so difficult to immigrate legally yet an overwhelming number of businesses rely on cheap immigrant labor. This is a feature, not a bug, because they can pay the illegal immigrants less and abuse them without fear of reprisal because if the employer gets any attitude about it, they call ICE and have the worker deported and replaced with the next struggling desperate immigrant.
There is no illegal worker in the US that would rather be an illegal worker than a legal carded one. The system is stacked against them because it saves businesses money to do so.
Anecdotal, but I’ve never once had a problem with any function of Firefox in the decade I’ve been using it. On the contrary it’s been the most stable browser I’ve had the pleasure of using, orders of magnitude more reliable in all situations than Chrome or Opera ever was.
This post smells of astroturfing. There’s been an awful lot of “why is Firefox so shit?” posts recently, now that Google is proving itself untrustable.
It was me. I was the smartest kid in my class for most of school. Then I dropped out of college and now I fix cars for a living.
Not saying that’s a bad thing, the world needs mechanics and I’m paid well enough to live, but the sense of lost or wasted potential is overwhelming.
They will trigger a laser alarm though. Depends what type of fire alarm you have. I have a laser alarm in my house and if I open the bathroom door too quick after a shower the steam can even trigger it.
