that there aren’t more jokes.
And meaner ones.
We believe that the Anarchists are real enemies of Marxism. Accordingly, we also hold that a real struggle must be waged against real enemies

You excuse homophobia because Russia is homophobic?
if you love getting fucked in the ass.
This is homophobic
Homophobia is gross
They’re from Lemmygrad, you’re from Lemmy.world, and you’re talking on Lemmy.ml.
What makes you think you have a better claim to the community this thread is in?
Do you just not understand federation?
It really is! :)
This Will Destroy You - A Three-legged Workhorse
Even worse, right now if a lemmy.world user goes and posts a homophobic rant on a queer instance, like Blahaj, and people proceeded to report it, those reports would only go to Blahaj when they should probably go to both Blahaj and lemmy.world,
The report supposedly goes to all relevant admins. That’s what ours said, at least.
The developers of Lemmy are (mostly) also voluntary. I think it’s dishonest to frame it as a temporary problem the lemmy developers need to solve. They should just be up front about it being a long-term defederation.
Beehaw admins have said they want to refederate when Lemmy has better mod tools
This is going to basically be forever. The lemmy.ml developers won’t focus on that for quite a while. If beehaw had said they’d be actively working on mod tools to add to lemmy that would be one thing. This is just a cop out.
There are/were a bunch of instances that were basically empty except for spammers. The block list in Lemmygrad and lemmy.ml is pretty long too, but most of those instances are empty.
They also proactively blocked Hexbear. Hexbear is a lemmy fork that’s coming back, but isn’t federated yet!
I think it’s a good argument to always have a couple of accounts on different instances, depending on what/who you want to interact with!
That feature was available until I got this most recent update. I hope it’s added back soon!
You’re not following your instance’s rule to be polite, are you?
I dig that. I felt similarly when the old genzedong got quarantined. I think people have a natural pull for community. Online communities aren’t “real”, but they sort of scratch the itch.
The good news is that the feeling does fade eventually, and new online communities can replace old ones. It just takes some time!
and repeating “you’ve chosen to engage with me” while this is very obviously the other way around.
Facedeer started the conversation, while loudly proclaiming that he doesn’t want to. What’s wrong with pointing out that he’s the one engaging?
FaceDeer’s issue is about LemmyGrad and not communism,
Homie admits that he doesn’t know anything about communism, but says his issue is with how Lemmygrad is not communist. Their issue is with ML communism.
Hey comfy, I understand what you’re getting at but I think I’m ok with it. I’m only returning an insult after it’s been thrown at me, and I think it’s clear that I’m working hard to be nice here. I’m no yogthos, and I have a hard time with stuff like this.
If I understand it right, federation happens automatically when someone from a new instance interacts with the home instance, or someone from the home instance searches out the new instance.
It looks like that site might be running with the British use of “skinhead” and not the U$ use. It was a progressive punk/ska subculture before it became used as a white supremacist thing in the U$.
