Hell no, no way I’d trust Google with my code. Personal or otherwise. Let me guess this would work only in Chrome.

It happened to me once. I had to wipe my vault to reset the password. Fortunately I had a backup lying around. Folks remember to take regular backups.
I have tried it… it’s not really the same tbh. The UI/UX is halfway there.
I use my tablet primarily. None of the lemmy apps have a dual pane UI. That alone makes the difference to me.
For work, I have no option other than Windows. Right now, I use a mix of WSL2, winget, scoop to get around which is nice. I get to ignore most of the rough edges of Windows lol
I did, it does not have a tablet UI either. I found the iOS like UI jarring to use loll. It’s a well made app but after using Sync for a decade+ any other app feels underwhelming.
Looking forward to Sync. Any of these apps have a tablet interface yet? I tried few of them and they didn’t have a tablet UI.
I cycled through many of them, each of them had some bugs or the other until I settled for Jerboa. Honestly I can’t wait for sync.
I wouldn’t consider another VC money backed app/service anymore no matter how good the tech might be. I hope we all remember the hard lessons from the fiascos from the recent months.
It’s also decentralized, but honestly I’m not a big fan of jumping on another Jack Dorsey project
Jack Dorsey is the reason why some of these perennially online personalities moved to Bluesky. The AT protocol maybe decentralized but there’s no unofficial instances of it yet (afaik).
Elden Ring is their best attempt at story telling imo. I could follow most of the NPC storylines without much effort in the first playthrough. It wasn’t really obtuse like their previous titles. There is a bit of hope they can improve.
