Out of curiosity, what country are you from? Most of the reports I see about the police being awful seem to come from the US. I’m from Romania, and I once had to call the police because a guy was harassing and following me in public. They arrived quickly, dealt with the guy, comforted me, offered snacks and water, and then explained the process and logistics to me. It was a really positive experience. Are the cops in the US really that bad?

My dad and I text constantly throughout the day when we’re apart, so he’d notice right away if something was off.

10, hands down. I was (and still am) raised by a single dad. He’s great. He’s non-monogamous/non-committal (or just aloof, you could say), so at home I’ve always had all of his attention to myself. I’m a total daddy’s girl.
