It’s likely they were trying to get the news riled up so they could cause a moral outrage that would attract attention to the game.

Wow, today I learned. Nintendo is pretty protective of its IP, so it’s nuts that these were allowed to be made by another company in the first place.
Blake Stone. Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in awhile
Honestly, your job doesn’t matter. Study the absolute hell out of leetcode and do mock interviews. Then, when you feel confident you’ll know you’re ready.
Looks cool, and a major first letting players be Zelda
What’s wrong with Tim Cook?
Edit: Downvoted for asking a question, y’all are miserable people.
If you watch WWDC, they shared how it works. They have a private cloud that does not persist data on it, only processes it. Also, it’s audited by a third party and there is a cryptographic mechanism that will not allow your request to be accepted unless the server software has been publicly signed by the auditor. At least, this is my best understanding of it from what I remember.
Also, in the same presentation they announced that you can now lock your Apps and hide them, which will keep its data out of the OS search results. I am fairly certain this also means it’s opted out of ML/AI processing given that any LLM would rely on the same search index.
The issue is some updates don’t contain just security fixes, but rather privacy invading features and advertising that make the OS shittier.
Niche is like “heatpumps” or “succulents” or just any random topic that you want to learn more about.
For me, Reddit was always invaluable for getting initial information on anything I needed to check out for the first time.
Lemmy has a much smaller user base
I have yet to buy a PS5 because there isn’t a game I want yet. Also, Sony tends to release improved consoles with lower price points and smaller footprints after a few years.
Recommend that you go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Always On Display and uncheck “Show Wallpaper”
This will make it so the display is mostly black when not in use. Black pixels don’t use power on OLED screens, so it will help boost your battery life.
Or, leave the wallpaper if you’d rather.
If men had mistresses, the “old lady” was their wife, but their concubines were young ones
I personally don’t care if people want to be vegan and sometimes I’ll eat vegan food. For me though, on the whole, I find vegan food unappealing. It usually involves compromises and doesn’t taste that great.
Additionally, I did eat in a house of vegetarians for about 10 months once. I ate meat outside the house on occasion, but mostly ate vegetarian. It was really hard on my stomach. After meals, I would usually have crazy gas. It did improve over time, but always was an issue for me.
For these reasons, I don’t prefer veganism or vegetarianism. It’s okay if you do though.
Edit: for vegans wondering why they’re hated, I think the downvotes to this comment summarize it. Above I’ve expressed a view perfectly tolerant of veganism. I’ve even tried some of it myself, but don’t find it appealing. Rather than just accept that someone else has a different dietary preference than you, you shit on them. If you want to be tolerated, be tolerant.
NextDNS is basically pihole as an actual DNS. You can configure your own blocklists and allowlists. They also provide pre-built blocklists, some even from AdGuard itself. As for privacy it supports encrypted DNS like DoH and allows you to choose the logging policy for your requests. You can have no logs, or some logs for a certain retention period (ex. 30 days). You can also choose which country your logs are stored in (ex. Switzerland). You can see your own logs and even analytics about your requests. There are loads of other features as well.
If you ended up with a file open and don’t know how to get out, there’s a good chance you shouldn’t be changing that file in the first place.
The name is very unfortunate, not just because it’s weird, but also because they will likely face a lawsuit from the actual company GoTo.
Yeah and they want to install some profile that gives them access and puts your internet connection through their VPN. My coworkers look at me like I’m crazy because I carry a work device and a personal device. Like, why would I give my employer access to all of my web traffic on my phone? You’re crazy if you don’t carry two devices.
