Yes, so now when there’s a success, it gets attributed to AI. When there’s an outage, that’s the fault of humans not reviewing correctly. These senior engineers will get fucked in all scenarios.

It still works but sadly it got the “no sim card” syndrome, so no longer a daily phone option…
I feel my old n900 will remain the only one I ever had…

Regarding Google, looks like it’s in the pipe yes, Fushia is non-GPL (permissive licenses, so no redistribution clause in case of a sudden licensing switch).

Code signing for EXE is already a thing. And @[email protected] is right, the same thing is happening there. Restrictions are getting more inconvenient, with Microsoft now talking about a maximum code signing certificates validity of 72 hours, with identity verification getting more strict too. Valid code signing certificates are not mandatory yet but I guess it’s a matter of time before we need to type powershell commands to disable restrictions.

There are Wireguard clients that connect based on wifi / mobile status. On f-droid WG Tunnel, WG Auto Connect, or Rethink should do.

You can also find private torrent sites with temporary open registration on opentrackers (mostly new ones but not only). There you can find invite forums (so mind your stats).

Here is an example for a famous book on two random instances:
I can find the 686 reviews entry on both, but not the others. And still, these all refer to the same book…

When I tried Bookwirm (a while ago), it didn’t look like there was any kind of metadata sharing between instances. Each book was present on each library, thus destroying the user experience (per-instance ratings and reviews for a single book).

I prefer Every Door for simple POI edits. Much easier to use for this use case (updating opening hours for example), especially on small screens.
Yep, I agree, UI looks a bit old but reacts quickly so it’s nice to use. You need to add plugins for some features like kanban.

Would be nice to have this as my “Contacts” phone application!

you can use kill-the-newsletter to receive those via rss

In my case it’s a matter of RAM (a few hundred megabytes available only).

Having to run a full-blown PostgreSQL instance just for a single user is a show-stopper for me.

I use Audire (does not require an audd.io API token). It’s open source but only available in the IzzyOnDroid repository.

Mindustry: one of the few great games on f-droid (tower defense)

Thanks, hopefully this one stays functional for longer than the others!
Looks similar to Plume, the “no DB required” is neat though!
