No, even if they wanted to, they have no expertise in UGC and they don’t have the infrastructure to do any of that

IMHO you always have to stay informed. Just find a news source that does not create too much FUD and you’re set. E.g: Axios, NPR, Reuters, etc
You can also use their DNS server without having to install anything
OK I read the bandcamp thing and… It’s not enshittification at all. Can we stop applying the term to every online service that kinda gets slightly worse for some reason or another?
Just in case:
Here is how platforms die: first, they are good to their users; then they abuse their users to make things better for their business customers; finally, they abuse those business customers to claw back all the value for themselves. Then, they die. I call this enshittification
None of those things happened with Bandcamp
You’re probably better off using dedicated websites for each site you need to download videos from.
They are usually ridden with ads, but it’s not a problem if you use uBlock Origin or similar addons
Eugene of Mastodon has signed an NDA with Facebook.
Is this true? Where can I read more about it?
I have very high hopes for this game, I hope crowd funding will help
No, they mean like “kilocelsius” or “millicelsius”, which makes them prefixes
This looks genuinely interesting
Axios is very good. Very dry journalism - almost crossing into news agency territory -, very fact-based, always mentioning the different positions on the matter at hand. They do talk about politics but you can just visit the other sections. They are especially big on tech stuff
EDIT: For how to get news, I use RSS. Inoreader in particular lets you subscribe to entire sites or just specific pages. It’s possibly the best piece of software I’ve ever tried
BNPL (“buy now, pay later”) is definitely amongst the worst problems
She is a damn fine businesswoman. She was able to use social media to have a relationship with her followers and build a large audience. That’s one of the main reasons she became famous.
Also, there have been a couple of situations that benefited her fame, such as the Kanye incident
I don’t know about the team, but to motivate the players you can always decide to permanently install “anti-cheat” software directly into user’s kernels. THAT will make them happy.
Also, did you know that the Riot client does not have an uninstaller? If you want to get rid if it, you have to search for all its files across your system and delete them manually. They are in at least 3 different folders. It’s great!
It’s not only that. Companies are getting richer and richer and they could easily afford LOTS of employees. Microsoft reached the trillion-dollar market cap and a few days later fired 1900 people
Is it strange that I have absolutely NO idea what you’re talking about?
I’m so pumped about this game
Agree. Also the new Kobo Libra 2 has a dark mode option (white text on black background).
We would like to do that - lime we do with PCs - because we’re nerds. It would be a veeeery small market, just like people who build PCs
This is an extraordinary achievement. I love that this version exists
Engy is a relaxing class only if you play on Capture the flag. The other modes are pretty stressful lol. But yeah, I usually also go for the Engy. Scout if I feel particularly adventurous, sometimes Sniper on 2Fort. Spy intrigues me but I’m just not able to use it, I’m a disaster.
