Pin media player is the setting name to search for.
Settings -> Sound and vibration -> Media -> Pin media player
Maybe theres a way to fix it but it just sucks ass so I turned it off.

I can fully encrypt my PC/BIOS password/secureboot if I have Linux on it. If I relock my bootloader with Android then I’m completely fucked if anything goes sideways. If I leave it open the phone gives a fucking warning on boot that the phone is unlocked and may be insecure and that warning can’t be disabled or locked. (Pixels)

Plex has been terrible for a long time if it weren’t for Jellyfin I would’ve just not bothered with a media server for a few years until they got their shit together. That reminds I should throw some money at the Jellyfin team.
I’m not hopping instances, I will just leave. Social media is worth very little to me. Abandoning it would mean nothing to me.
