My brother in law is like this. He keeps a yearly journal on google drive and his logic is that since he keeps it on google drive he doesn’t care if google know everything about him or not. The convenience of having it heavily outweighs any privacy that he might have. Though I wonder if him growing up in an authoritarian country has something to do with it.
Ask and you shall receive…at least for desktop: https://kbin.social/m/kbinStyles/t/50628/Improved-Collapsible-Comments-Script-that-lets-you-collapse-replies-by
You will need to install tampermonkey/firemonkey on your browser though
Communities/magazines don’t sync right away, someone has to try to access the community from kbin first then in the background the federating starts. Sometimes is takes a while but once it’s done all the new posts/comments will show up but not the older stuff. It looks like the pathfinder2e is working now at least for me.
No, I’m going to wait until about Aug to fully delete since some of my posts/comments keep coming back. I want to make sure I overwrite them before deleting
You can use teddit.net or any of the libreddit mirrors just google libreddit
It looks like I can create a new post just fine. What are you seeing when you hit the add button?
Right now it’s the if you get any boosts and not the upvote button. I heard they were going to switch it at some point though I could be wrong
Didn’t the sub get put into a locked state since there weren’t any moderators at the time? Or was is it still fully accessible?
I think another issue is the timing of when you do your edits/deletes and when a sub privates/unprivates. I noticed yesterday when a couple subs unprivated, my edited/deleted comments and posts came back.
My bad, thought this was on kbin. Still getting used to how things are set up here.
You can also block whole instances/servers by clicking on the domain and blocking from there. It looked like a bunch of furry stuff was being posted to a specific server earlier so I block it and I haven’t seen anything since
Found this that works really well. Dawn + vinegar has already been mentioned but try it with the rubbing alcohol as well
