  • You know whats funny? When I worked in education, no one cared. I would start my day with some pot after a night of heavy drinking. I bet I smelled like a bottle of vodka. Well I know I did, one day I had to go home cause I was so hung over and no one batted an eye. It didn’t help that the easiest conversation starter in the teachers lounge was what will you be drinking tonight. So yeah most jobs don’t really care.

  • heh there’s the human excrement as well. I mean you do you, if you’re willing to take up that lifestyle than good. I don’t think when it comes to food most of the time. It’s kind of like my buddies that like to hunt deer, they’re all about trophy shots and whatever. Tracking the blood trail. And get pissed when I shot to the back of the head (shutting down all function); no suffering no running away in fear.

  • Gimme some of of that listeria, e. coli, salmonella, the parasite thing I had from a salad, etc. There wouldn’t be more food. Diversity is what keeps us alive. You do you, but I don’t think you understand how the world works. And please tell me how rice and beans will keep me alive in -40 degree weather. I guess I should just chug olive oil.

And yeah, sure it was nice when I had my own garden in Vermont. But now I get to play Russian roulette, except 5/6 chambers have rounds. I hate to shit on you since you have good intentions but it’s a naive take.

  • I think that’s a major point.

    Critical thinking is demoralized.

I mean I showed court dockets about Tent Peg Rump to people supporting him—still. And it’s been interesting to see the stubbornness to still show support. It’s like you got rearended over the last year and like the dog meme in the fire, this is fine. Some people just don’t want to admit defeat. At least some people are waking up. Also the other thing is, you can’t show your opinion often. It’s like we’ve reached China’s level of censorship without even knowing.

  • I’m not sure honestly it’s been over a decade. Yeah, reddit got weird, bots and people paid to down vote popular opinions. It’s like you get a bunch of down votes and nobody has a reply. A lot of it has to do with text being misunderstood. You can write a text and someone will think you mean something else. Also it’s more fun here, it’s like stepping back in time when people actually wrote to each other on a forum. And yeah, anything that touches change or addresses an actual issue, you’re a radical.
