oh of course you can see it :) it’s just that tiktok is very far away from what people in the fediverse expect of monetization free-surveillance free-self hosted-open source software ^^

it’s quite mesmerizing to see people fling around like gravity doesn’t exist! I would never have thought this was something for me, but there is someone with a big big heart giving away his time and skill for free lessons twice a week.
i’ve been stoked from the moment i saw him and his students move like that, 7 days later there was a pole in my playspace, and i’ve been doing it for three months months now.
The opportunities to learn things in VRChat are incredible, so many avenues to get better at something: languages, singing, yoga, dancing, chess, photography… and then all the skills needed to make your avatar come to life the way you want with Blender, Substance 3D Painter, Unity Editor, VRCFury…

aha i’ll consider it when I’m better at it, but i just started my tiktok doing that, so maybe there’s potential! ^^

i work full time in IT yeah, pole dancing in VR costs me money, zero revenue from this hobby

1982 here, became a furry last year, i now pole dance in VR, lost 70lbs, fitter than ever ^^

both yeah, windows for VR and mac for work

yup, i have a vue 2 project that was using a UI-component library maintained by a single person, and i needed to migrate the project to vue 3, that person didn’t have the resources to do it soon enough and i had to rewrite most of my app to switch to another UI-library, i chose this time one that’s maintained by a large team instead

heh sorry i left my tin foil hat at home when writing this :P

Musk’s deadlines always have been pure fantasy. But i’m seeing real life hands on reviews of autonomous driving in various places, even Amsterdam with a mayhem of canals and cyclists, it’s not entirely there but damn impressive.
The rollout of the cars themselves will be a non issue, they control the factories to pump out the vehicles as they need it, unlike waymo’s retrofit way of doing things.
I can’t predict the future, had a company car tesla model 3 from 2019 with “full potential for self driving” and after 4 years when the leasing contract ran out, it was still barely on the level of a teenager on their 5th driving lesson. They might very well never reach the point where it’s good enough for the real world and stay on really predictable paths.

look, i don’t like tesla either, but assuming a linear progression here is probably really naive and wrong. they know how to scale up, once their tech is on point, look at the rate falcon 9s deliver starlink sats in LEO.

Yesterday. As a matter of fact quite often, I’ve found wonderful people to have deep conversations about our projects for our lives, about politics, science… you name it. And of all places, in VR Chat. It’s the new third place, a forum to gather without the economical pressure of consuming.
don’t forget this glorious wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mamil
oh thank you, that’s actually helpful :D
this made me laugh, although i’m a 40+ yo cis gay male who has not the first clue about female clothing or the female body xD
tit twat tenet thought tenderfoot
can you fix the tilt of your TV? 🫠
okay but my honey jars have a screw on lid, that’s not very practical ^^
it’s sold in every souvenir shop of stuff made with olive tree wood in Greece. and it’s a stupid device, so much honey stays stuck in it after using it, absolutely not worth it
<3
we have yet to figure that one out, but scientists are actively researching that subject. in the meantime, i’ll be shaking that bootay on stage, don’t mind me ^^
