As a non-native English speaker, I always have to think a second extra about “terrific”, about it being negative or positive. Probably because it sound similar to “terrible”.

It had it’s brief moment in the sun ~20 years ago. It’s not dead, of course, but is in no way a “hot” technology today, as I understand it.

GenX here. Yeah I remember beepers being all the rage in a brief window of time, just before cell phones took off. They were called “Minicall” here in Sweden.

yeah, I mean that’s why emojis exist in the first place.

Maybe because it isn’t cool to use 😂? It has a bit of a bad rep in that it’s seen as a boomer-emoji, I think.

I love Input sans because it gives me a very pleasant retro vibe, especially at heavy weights.

For now, that is. Thing is that MacOS is on a trajectory where it becomes more and more locked down.

Imagine surviving a whole ass moon flight just to perish at sea because no one comes to get you…
