Not really patient as i first played this on launch day back in 2006, but ive started playing zelda twilight princess again. Originally played on wii but playing the gc version now. Enjoying it and much i dont remember (i mean in a couple of weeks it is turning 19 and i havent played since then so no wonder). Just got the master sword today and done with the mandatory wolf stuff

I also had gta3 going on ps2 some time back. I had stuff going on so had to drop it for some weeks and when i got back i couldnt find my way out of some area (kept going round and round) so i gave up (super weird to not have a map, or maybe im just an idiot who cant find it?). About 60% completed. Was anyway abit disappointed in the story - i didnt think it was so thin. Loved gta4 and i also played bully recently which was great. I might pick it up to finish the story after zelda. Are vice city and san andreas equally story poor or did they improve for those?

Also been eyeing okami as a game i never played but always wanted to.

I generally make sure to spend my money one contemporary artists or authors (who are not already filthy rich, if they are already super well-off i dont contribute to increasing that wealth and instead buy something else) and try to maxmize the amount of money that falls to them. You could also find ways to donate directly to these artists and then pirate their stuff to your hearts content (from my ethical point of view anwyay, law will not agree with me). Ive also first pirated stuff and then bought it later and just replaced the files on my media server.

I dont really care about big corporations or some random rights holder long after someones death. So any big studio movie or old rock bands get pirated.

Loved me1! One of my all time faves. Need to pick it up again soon. Started a play about a year ago but ran into a hectic patch at work and it died out. Never finished me3 tough, the gauntlet at the end got too gears of war-y for me and when i ended up having to start from scratch because i ran out of ammo i juat said fuck it and put down the controller never to return

2007 also gave me another two of my all time favorites: portal and super mario galaxy

Im playing gta 3 on ps2. Nice nostalgia trip but the story telling is kinda dated especislly since gta 4 was my first real playtheough of a gta game back in the days and that has great story telling (and the protagonist even talks!!!)

This week end an old buddy of mine is visiting and we will probably be picking up some old gc and ps2 titles.

Also had some more fun on my wow private server.

Yes you can use the autoscale mod to make content soloable but you might want to tweak the settings to get it to a difficulty level you like. Some raid bosses have some game mechanics that make soloing difficult though

You should look into the gm commands to see what you can manipulate and also the server configs have a lot of things you can tweak that could make the game more enjoyable for you

I run one on a 8 gb debian server from hetzner and it seems rock solid so far from what i can tell with the amount of traffic i am likely to have (just friends get an account). Running azerothcore and not trinitycore. Setup was very easy.

Quests are really just entries in a mysql database so im sure there are open source quests you can just inject into the database. or you can make your own :)

I am also running my own instance of azerothcraft on a vps so that i can play with some friends. Love it so far but summertime means there is not too much activity yet. Im running with autoscale mod and it is quite fun to run some of the lower lvl instances at lvl 60 and it is actually a challenge (yes i capped the level at 60 because that is what i know)

Anything in particular you like to do with your awesome gm powers? (moonfire spam wins)

I picked up mirrors edge again after some weeks without playing it and i cleared a level yesterday. Was going to do a session now as well, but now my save had been wiped. Probably related to me struggling to figure out lutris and heroic and messing around abit yesterday evening. It a little of a bummer but at the same time i found the game a little too frustrating - a good idea not executed well enough to be a truly enjoyable experience in my opinion.

I am abit indecesive at the moment. I fired up both tales of symphonia on gamecube and final fantasy 7 on ps1 yesterday, kinda want to start another jrpg but at the same time not quite where i want to commit myself to a long game. Also installing fallout 3 now so hm…

I fired up theme hospital for some fun this week as well though, that was a welcome nostalgia trip :)

Still have mirrors edge to continue, but this week i actually started setting up my own wow private server for some old buddies to play on. Will start for real after summer when they are more inclined towards gaming again. So far pretty fun to do (even thoguh just solo testing so far). I played a lot of wow 20 yrs ago
