3·11 months agoDoesn’t seem to indicate whether groups will work with vertical tabs and unless that’s the case, I’m not switching from TST.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•When you think back to a day at work that left you feeling accomplished and satisfied - what happened that day?
4·1 year agoSpent some time in flow state. Pretty much every good day I have at work has some time in flow. Spending all day in meetings, interruptions, etc. is where bad days come from.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•I'm looking for web mail providers, what do you recommend?
3·1 year agoI am currently hosting my own email on a server that I rent and I am absolutely sick and tired of email issues, spam, google randomly being assholes and blocking my family’s traffic, just stupid shit. It’s a second fucking job at times. I have DKIM, DMARC, SPF all configured correctly, Google just randomly decides to stop my traffic randomly. Which of these options would you recommend for say up to 20 email accounts or so, using your own domain? I assume all of these options do things like spam filtering on the back end.
To be clear, I am not looking for free, just reasonable.

9·1 year agoThere is nothing admin-wise I hate more than dealing with email security. Fucking google is horrible. At least when Microsoft randomly decides the half dozen family members on my personal domain are bulk email spammers, there’s a form to reach out. Google is a piece of shit in this way just like in so many other ways.

“One of the things that we have done in my office, for the drop boxes across the counties, is make sure that they have fire suppression equipment inside of those drop boxes,” Fontes said during a Zoom call with election officials on Thursday. “Unfortunately, the United States Postal Service doesn’t have that.”

I have one of those floating around here too, the thing I didn’t care for with that model was that the blade doesn’t stick out very far. The one-handed action is nice tho. The one I carry every day is this one https://a.co/d/29pk73c but it’s not currently available.
Slider style EDC utility knife. Small, lightweight, and because the blades are cheap and easily replaced you can abuse them - cut on concrete, pry stuff, if it breaks the blade, not a big deal.
https://a.co/d/gouJDKV typical example but there’s lots of different ones.
Bonus - these blades are more expensive than most, but still cheap and last a lot longer than standard blades do https://a.co/d/bQj77Qz

I’m in a very car-centric city (Phoenix, AZ) but I use a cargo bike all the time, probably 90% of my local trips. I can’t count how many times someone in a car has done something to make my life a little easier, giving me a bit more space for example or waving me through so I don’t have to stop. There’s lots of bike hater stories out there, but it’s almost never been like that for me.
And on the other side, I let people know they have a tail/brake light out, all the time. Once you start noticing it, there’s a LOT of them.
