The thing is, it’s not just the bullshit that’s happening now, the bullshit has been happening all along, they were just much better at being covert or weren’t quite as blatant with their greed. I don’t know about that, everything I was taught in school about this country turned out to be complete crap, and the people who are supposed to be angry at the kind of tyranny going on right now, who were waving don’t tread on me flags my whole life, are the ones most vehemently supporting it. So I dunno what we got left. I have hope left in people, not ideas of nations blurred by history and endless retellings of how it came to be.

I see, thank you, I’ve always just used my tree structure as my playlist, as I typically listen to whole albums at once, so I’ve used simple audio players like 1by1 on Windows or Deadbeef on Linux where I can just browse my file system and play music. It seems most things nowadays use playlists

I’m not 100% sure the reason, I suspect a lot of people just wore athletic socks as regular socks, so those are just plain white socks, they are a lot more comfortable for working class people on their feet all day. White collar folks tend to wear darker socks more with the suits and all that. I see younger people wearing darker socks more now though, like gen alpha. Personally I have a rainbow of socks and don’t like either ;)

I have a lot of music in folders, could you elaborate a bit on that? I’m kinda interested in doing something like this sometime instead of copying music all the time lol but if it ignores folders I’ll check another solution

If it’s a chronic pain then I can see that for sure, I’ve had times where I’ve just felt like putting my head through a wall would be the most effective relief. Walls are a lot sturdier than movies would have you believe

I wasn’t a huge fan when I was younger, but now I can’t help but like them, the guitar work is just insane and the songs are really feel good mostly

ohh it’s an insanely difficult question since I’ve gone through so many music phases and now listen to almost all of them

the album I’ve played the most and has had the most influence on me is probably The Shamen - Axis Mutatis, The Shamen had a few big hits off their first album, this second album was more experimental and I don’t think it hit as well with the party crowd, but to me it has some excellent lyrics, melodies, sound design.

Close second is Skinny Puppy - Mind The Perpetual Intercourse

I got so excited for a second haha, no such luck yet I guess, great for Dwarf Fortress players tho :)
