She should really be using a dry kitchen towel to grip that wok, if she were serious about achieving proper wok hei.
Yeah - I’m currently playing solo so I can progress at my own pace.
I bought it about 6 hours ago and am only taking a break cuz I was hungry and needed to use the restroom. Then I’ll probably play some more until I get too sleepy.
I’m having a blast with the game. It feels like a mix between Pokémon and Valheim.
No real bugs encountered so far. The only bug I’ve experienced since I’ve started playing is that respawning at my base places me inside some vertical terrain, and that’s partially my fault for needing to place objects so close to the walls that they’re practically clipping.
Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, which elevates blood pressure by causing your blood vessels to constrict.
I’m partial to the Judges’ guns, particularly from the Urban-led movie, as I’ve not delved much into the comics.
Also, I think this falls more into the fantasy category, but I love the chonkiness of Hellboy’s Samaritan.
Truly, a requiem for a dreamer.
Haha, any kind of ink works for me, as long as I can draw with it! Also, I’m always looking for art communities on Lemmy, so I just joined!
Currently, I’m doing studies of mechanical joints and greebles to improve my ability to draw hard surface stuff (e.g. mechs, vehicles, inorganic constructs), and I’m also drawing a shitpost meme when I need to take a break from studying! :)
Mine is drawing. I’ve had other hobbies and have other things that I enjoy doing, but drawing is the most engaging thing for me. Your standards always outpace your ability, so there’s never a moment when you feel like you’ve accomplished everything you could’ve accomplished. There’s always something new to draw or learn about.
Earth is the only planet that we’re adapted to live on. Nowhere else will be as forgiving of our mistakes.
[email protected] is a decent, general purpose art-centric community. People submit their personal art work, and the skill level seems to have a pretty broad range, which I like.
Others, like !traditional_art, !Digitalart, etc. seem to have a high bar when it comes to submitting art, so I think that those types of communities tend to center more on sharing/posting others’ artwork (i.e., professional/advanced artists, etc.)
There are other ones like !drawing and !learntodraw where the focus isn’t so much on quality/finished artwork, but the community seems dead.
Is this a joke riffing on the fact that May 9th is Go(5) Ku(9) day?
