I took Latin in high school, and the teacher in Latin 3 would quiz us on vocab periodically. One kid never knew the answers, would always say “I don’t know”. So one day, the teacher calls on the kid, asks him a Latin 1 word - nescio*. Kid says “I don’t know”. Teacher says “YES!”

I 'member having to use a script to do software mixing of multiple audio streams in alsa, so I could listen to a music CD while playing WOW. Otherwise whichever thing started first would grab the audio device and the other thing couldn’t use it. This would’ve been back in like 2006-7.

There is 0 chance that they’ll be able to do “regular annual trips” without changing the architecture. Even if they could support the $4B+ launch cost of SLS + Orion every year, which they can’t, lockmart couldn’t produce enough Orion capsules, Boeing and their contractors couldn’t produce enough SLS cores, Northrop Grumman couldn’t produce enough SRBs and aerojet rocketdyne couldn’t produce RS-25 engines fast enough for even a 1/year launch cadence.
