The CAD program with one level of Undo, an unreliable Revert option, and active hostility toward incremental saves.
I don’t know the first thing about CAD, but lmao.

+Roquefort gang.
I’ve been beating this drum for years, but Autoduel as a MMORPG.
The legend of scarabic lives on.
Great growth so far. How does this compare to Reddit?
In 2020 their year-over-year growth was around 50%, or roughly 4% per month. (source)
Serious question, what are we looking at and/or being mildly infuriated about here?

I think they’re “communities” here?
Do moderators have the ability to “require approval” for new subscribers? I’d assumed that “pending” meant that someone had to “let me in” because that’s how they chose to run their corner of the internet (which is great).
Is it actually just lag/a tech issue?
Can’t decide which I prefer at this point.
But they’re basically interoperable, yes?
So far I miss being able to see a graphic associated with links I post
haha, my first post here I tried to post both a URL and an image, so it looked like I made a post that consisted solely of the defector.com logo. :/
In retrospect, it’s kind of shocking how many obviously wrong turns I had to make for that to happen.
I’m sure the folks who know this stuff better than I are already exploring it, but I imagine that PixelFed integration would be relatively straightforward.
Exciting times!
You’re very welcome!
Thanks! I’m sure it was something I botched, haha.
A thousand times this!
In the meantime, if someone could post a quick walkthrough on how to easily get from
Point A: A link that looks like “https://sopuli.xyz/c/homebrewing”
to
Point B: Community page is opened natively in Jerboa, by way of ‘my’ instance, with the ‘subscribe’ option close at hand.
I hear you – thanks! I guess I need to figure out how to copy that link text in Jerboa, haha.
OT: In Jerboa (lemmy app), why does clicking those community links open in a browser?
My understanding is that if I want to engage with a community on another instance, I need to “go to” that community from my own instance… right?
But when Jerboa opens the community in a browser, I can’t subscribe or anything since at that point I’m “on” the other instance, which of course has no idea who I am.
Great post / question!
I was trying to think of a way to ask the same question without coming across as some sort of anti-centralisation absolutist lunatic, haha.
My gosh, I hate “lemmings” because of the connotation that we’re just here because everyone else is.
But you’re right. A term that folks can generally vibe with is really important.
My people!!
