I don’t think there is a file in my Firefox directory that is Google.com but I get your point, that’s cache tho.

7·10 days agoMusic on my server via Soulseek downloads and shares. I share it via SMB share and Jellyfin with tailscale to all my devices.
People often recommend Navidrome but its lack of care for folders irks me.

32·16 days agoWhy would you pay for something, now annually, that is essentially a bad Linux webgui , which can be easily achieved for free with any Linux distro? Outside of mixed drives…
Bro, the joke existed before that Lemmy.world post

Can I integrate location history from google maps or my running watch or just my phone? Would be interested just in getting that print out of all my runs
Also—why would someone want location history beyond getting that cool map? What does this add that my selfhosted ability to remember where I went doesn’t?

51·16 days agoHonestly running anything that isn’t Synology made on their devices is a pain. Also, without knowing how old the device is, it’s also a challenge to make a recommendation. As the other user replied Jellyfin is a good one, can run music, movies and tv, and home media too.
Stash is also a good one for grandpa
looks like extreme nitpicking without any real issues beyond some VC funding a FOSS issues.
