Making the 2 smaller ones not touch each other or one of the small ones not touching with the big one would do it
It was crossposted as part of .ml boycott efforts
Why am I cross-posting .ml content?
I cross-post from .ml to the nearest relevant non-.ml comm to reduce the influence of .ml comms and indirectly, the instance as a whole, to make it an easier decision for other instance admins to defederate because one key reason I identified that admins don’t want to defederate is because .ml still has some very large comms and some niche comms.
Some highlights from the link:
"Don’t worry guys, the Uyghur Genocide was REALLY just birth control! ~dessalines, .ml admin, dev https://lemmy.world/post/30580167
“See! nobody died IN Tiananmen Square, just AROUND it, so it doesn’t count!!” ~ Davel, .ml admin https://lemmy.world/post/30673342
.ml admin, Nutomics continued transphobia https://lemmy.world/post/29222558 The original transphobic Comment from Nutomic: https://lemmy.world/post/18236068
“NK is actually good and anything counter to that is Western propaganda!” ~dessalines, .ml admin, dev https://lemmy.world/post/31595035
General negative sentiment to other instances who haven’t “seen the way” yet ~davel, .ml admin https://lemmy.world/post/27426510
“If you don’t support Russia then you just don’t understand geopolitics” ~dessalines, .ml admin, dev https://lemmy.world/post/27352415
And so so much documentation on clear heavy handed censorship and bias also on the link. So much I can’t even put them all here because this comment would be really long.
I believe the behavior of its admins (the main admins are Lemmy devs) does harm to the overall growth of the Lemmy-verse and maybe even the Thrediverse (since Lemmy kinda kicked off the Thrediverse) because of its association with the devs of Lemmy and their insistence to use .ml as their personal political platform to spread harmful propaganda
On the outside, bringing up Lemmy frequently leads to comments like “Lemmy? Isn’t that the place with a bunch of tankies?” Or “Tried Lemmy, but found it full of pro Russia crap so I left”. The best way forward from that I see is to either widely defederate from .ml like the rest of the Triad, or pressure them to put a fair and unbiased as possible admin team.

181·7 months agoThat’s just what shows because the image host is lemmy․ml, this was part of the .ml boycott cross-posting. Some crossposts might also end up on a different image host but proxied by lemmy․ml, those will also show as lemmy․ml

science@lemmy.world•Effects of international sanctions on age-specific mortality: a cross-national panel data analysisEnglish
21·7 months ago25% of all countries were subject to some type of sanctions by either the USA, the EU, or the UN in the 2010–22 period
It’s right in the intro, though it doesn’t specify “The West” specifically, it is an apt summary.
Also this was a .ml crosspost, but I did not find the title to be misrepresentative, so I left it
Confirms something I’ve strongly suspected about you.
If what I think you’re hinting about is what you’re hinting about, you might not have come across my work yet

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What do you think of imitation and lab-grown meats?
1·7 months agoYea I can see that. I personally detest tofu, except when in a dish that’s built around it rather than trying to imitate something else. Like in miso soup it’s delicious!

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's a popular game series that you just can't understand the hype for?
8·8 months agoIndirectly pokemon go for me lol, played it a bit but meh
You probably just haven’t seen a specific doc enough (which is a good thing!)
If you’re the type of person to live this kind of meme, you’re probably been seeing a specific doc regularly to work on a chronic condition (once a month maybe even once a week) for months if not years. And the doc referenced in this meme would probably also be a psychiatrist

21·9 months agoLol I’ve always wanted to get a pilots license to replace my commercial air travel, but damn is it expensive and even more expensive to fly anywhere and maintain the plane lmao

61·9 months ago[email protected] is still moderated And not on .ml, but smallish because it just moved over there (needed to move over from [email protected] because of .ee shutdown)
This was a crosspost and I didn’t realize, I have now broken the crosspost and replaced the image for proper attribution

692·9 months agoThe problem isn’t what the content was, the problem is letting a payment processor dictate what is and is not acceptable even when legal
