It looks fine, but why is this game being remastered?

It was soooo good!
I grew up in the same area so I knew them when they were Sweet Children! Can’t believe it’s been so long!
For a second I thought you were talking about writing, and I was like holy heck that’s a lot of books!
And well, it still is!
I’m excited. I’m going to see Green Day tonight! Plus Rancid and The Smashing Pumpkins
Ahh so it’s still never been confirmed then. The Aether2x event and the Reddit third-party event happened relatively close together, so I never got closure.
Sad that the emulation community has such a prevalent amount of vocal people who go around expectantly harassing developers. Such a large part of the community seems so nice and wholesome, but there is a significant portion that is also extremely vile and consistently ruins it for the rest of us.
Edit: Oh, and thank you for responding.
Iirc - Duckstation dev is the same one who did Aether2x right?
Oh, that’s easy. MMMMXCVI
Welcome to the bait and switch.
It’s alright, I played for a little bit after it released cause I was bored.
At the time, the queue times were fairly long and the game length was either very quick or a reasonable match length, no in between. It seemed like most people liked one character and anyone playing anyone else was new. At the time, it was very fast paced, but very floaty. There was also not a lot of impact on some of the guns, no real feeling of recoil on the sniper or the SMG.
I’m sure that has changed in the few weeks-~month since I haven’t played. It’s a fun point and clicker, but with the length of the queue times I’d rather play something else.
Social media people only get paid €100 a month? I doubt that.
Ah nice somehow never came across that term.
Thanks!
Well there’s not really any major 3rd person MOBA’s, and Deadlock is not very similar to Smite in gameplay.
I think it’s an interesting addition to a not very well explored genre – I’m not the biggest MOBA fan but this one is a lot of fun (for me) because of the emphasis on movement and patience.
I wonder if the dev team wanted to play a game that doesn’t really exist yet and so they made this, since it seems more like a passion project.
Article update:
Update #1 - 14:31 UTC: Rockstar have now put up an official FAQ for BattlEye where they state:
Is BattlEye compatible with Steam Deck?
Steam Deck does not support BattlEye for GTA Online. You will be able to play GTAV Story Mode but unable to play GTA Online.
Note: GTAV and GTA Online are not officially supported on Steam Deck and all technical support questions should be directed to Valve’s Steam Deck support content and community.
I’m still currently waiting for an official statement from Rockstar on any plans to enable it, since BattlEye as mentioned below is supported on Linux / Steam Deck.
I’m sure.its a bit of that too, but I do feel like the ultimate reason is still, “well why are you taking time off to do something that isn’t only benefitting you?”
basically the same mindset that created this culture is what developed compensation for our time, as opposed to just taking the loss for the day to do a good thing.
I could not believe it, but I’m choosing to… Believe it.
It’s funny because we don’t even need GPU’s. There’s tech that offloads the model’s “search” to an analog computer which is ~98% accurate for a fraction of the energy.
I imagine NVIDIA isn’t too excited about that side of AI, though.
I think it’s for people who are intentionally playing poorly, not navigating their way around the map and getting lost or being a poor shot
Yup. Lighthearted through perseverance
Compounded issue! Since you know, heavy metals are still an issue lmao
