It doesn’t make the best quality, but it’s great to have a kettle around that can brew coffee.

The kind where one can get to a different galaxy in a single lifetime? I doubt it.
Or you could rocket jump for more hang time. Only once, though.

The US has had a reactionary streak since its inception.
The country was founded on stolen land by slavers and oligarchs. The southern States launched a rebellion because they were concerned about losing their human chattel, then after losing maintained a 150 year terror campaign against those whom they deemed “lesser.” The oligarchs have been consolidating power the entire time (with a few brief hiccups). There was a large and explicitly fascist America First movement that grew throughout the 20th century while Congress and the FBI aggressively persecuted leftist leaders.
The US is a very reactionary country with historically good PR.

It can’t be a universal thing for all birds, but budgies feel safer if there’s some ambient noise; it indicates that there isn’t a predator around that needs to be avoided. Silence means danger.

Guitar, bass, ukulele, and renaissance lute. They’re all fairly similarly tuned, so there’s some skill transfer among them. Guitar is my strongest instrument, I’ve been playing that for about 30 years.
I play a bit of hand percussion, too.
I also play soprano and tenor recorder, they’re good to know for early music and tuned the same except an octave apart. I’m decent enough at them, and they’re especially fun when played in a consort. I picked them up about 4 years ago now.

Oh yeah! I got that as another pack-in game, probably for a voodoo card if I’m not mistaken.
I really should check it out again, I remember it being good. Thanks for the rec.
The pitcher does matter, this one is harder to read than it needs to be.

This is one of the discs I’ve held onto over the years. I’m considering getting an optical drive just so I can play it and a few others I’ve got.
It wasn’t a great game iirc, but mostly because it was so far ahead of its time. I really do want to give it another go, and not just for nostalgia.

I have it on Steam, and I think I tried without luck. Is he very interested if you’re able to get it working though.

I got that as a pack-in game for something, probably a CD-ROM drive, and was impressed. I bet it has aged very well, good rec.

I should try it on my Steam Deck, I wonder if it’s any different with Proton?

I believe the difference is that it actually emulates the hardware instead of just making the stuff you have look and act like it is compatible, but I’m far from an expert.
I really enjoyed Midtown Madness 1 when it came out, if 2 doesn’t work I think 1 would. Thanks for the rec!

I have it from GOG, but the control mapping is still pretty bad IIRC.
I should really give it a go here, good idea.

I’d really love a patch to play Gothic 2 with English subtitles but German audio.
The English voice acting might be the worst I’ve ever heard.

Great idea, I might even have a copy somewhere.

Ooh, it’s even got Mercenaries. Thanks!

I really should play some of the M:TG game, I remember it being a pretty great version.
I hope I’m a Rowlf but I might be a Gonzo, which isn’t too bad either.
