For double the salary, I’d need to think long and hard about it tbh.

Do people genuinely send messages like this?
I downloaded the free version for now but where are people seeing ads btw? I don’t want them obviously but I’m yet to see any lol
Agree, its refreshing to see people bring there best grammar skills.
Yeah, absolutely defederate. Nothing good can come from interacting with Meta.
Went to work in a warehouse because I just needed a job. Discovered that logistics was interesting to me, so went to evening college to get an associate’s degree in logistics management.
Now 8 years later, I look after the supply chain for 4 warehouses in 3 countries while working from home.
How do you block a whole community?
That actually makes sense. My mind is always wandering and random stuff pops up that I’ll think about. I didn’t realize that sort of distraction could have physical effects like clumsiness.
41 in 2 months. I’ve always been clumsy though
I have a feeling many of those critical to the protest don’t yet fully grasp what a Reddit without 3rd party apps will look like. They’ll soon find out how shit the base experience is without those apps. And we all know old.reddit won’t stay around for long either
Pretty much all sort of info, news or otherwise, and often backed with sources and references. For practical issues, people would often share tips or refer to helpful videos and step-by-step instructions.
I see. But I can imagine there’s an equal chance that this situation pushes everything towards centralisation because if this AI can pick it all up from anywhere, and you don’t interact with the UI directly, why bother posting something on an alternative to Twitter? Might as well post it at the same place because your friend’s AI would just show them your post and not the ecosystem you posted it in.
How so? Not sure I understand what that means.
Hard pass. Twitter is a toxic cesspool and this one will no doubt turn out the same. The fact that it’s Meta is an even bigger turnoff.
Well ok then, fuck you and goodbye :D
Already used Redacted to remove all posts and comments but still lurking as long as Boost is working. It’s not easy to let go
I’ve only been using Jerboa (and Lemmy) myself since yesterday so I’m not in a place to give out tips yet :D
Try Jerboa for Lemmy, works pretty well for me :)
Well obviously the commute should be within a reasonable distance, I wouldn’t spend 5 hours a day in a car or train for it. But let’s say the total time spend back and forth is about 1,5 - 2 hours total. I feel that’s worth the time spend for a hypothetical double salary.
Obligatory presence in the office is indeed a red flag if it doesn’t actually provide a benefit to the role. To clarify, I’m 100% WFH in Denmark so I’m not advocating to push people into an office building but there’s definitely a point where nearly everyone would go into the office full-time, if salary and benefits are high enough.
