Hi I’m Tim.
I’m AuDHD - officially diagnosed ADHD and self-diagnosed (for now) with ASD. I also suffer from a great deal of Imposter Syndrome.
By 2035 we could be under water, or all living in a radioactive hellscape. And the argument of paying people to use a free service breaks logic.
Well a bunch of them are using WSL to do their work, which isn’t the same, but shows how many people are just stuck with a Windows box.
In StackOverflow 2024 survey ~17% of both professional and personal use users were using WSL.

Edit - A word went missing due to my battle with autocorrect. 😩
The US district judge Vince Chhabria, in San Francisco, said in his decision on the Meta case that the authors had not presented enough evidence that the technology company’s AI would dilute the market for their work to show that its conduct was illegal under US copyright law.
Why is this not the same bar for people who got busted on Napster back in the day, or torrents more recently?
Agreed, which I know is on purpose trying to get you to spend more time on the site and see more things that could be impulse buys.
I’m not clicking on what looks like an AI slop YouTube video just to find out why a guy making a video about AI needed to use AI to make the video. Beyond seeing clippy for nostalgia, seeing that it’s likely a video about MS I care even less.
If you actually thought it was a video of value, you could have written (or just copy/pasta) a description of the video and why it might be of interest.
What? He kinda broke a finger and then suddenly needed to use AI? His one bad finger prevented him using the other 9? He couldn’t speech-to-text it?
Or did AI break his finger to get him to make the video?!
We are not the only species on earth that enjoys music either, other animals do as well as plants.
I enjoy music though because I can use it as a mood regulator and/or drowned out the songs/noise in my head on a bad ADHD day. Jam bands for when I just need to get things done, sad/feels type tunes when I either want to steer into a different mood, or lean way into one. Then just “happy tunes” when I’m feeling good and just want to keep my brain mellow.
Trump like a mob boss keeps the “heat” away from him as much as possible. He’ll let his cult army march around with their swastikas, and if asked “knows nothing about it”. And he’ll turn around and instruct the same people he doesn’t know anything about to “stand back and stand by”.
How could we have known, that putting the people making the profit in charge of regulation would lead to this!? /s
The GitHub page has a section for this:
Exempted Code
Not all source code, documentation and metadata used in the development of Direct File is included in this repository. Specifically, any code or data that is considered Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Federal Tax Information (FTI), Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU), or source code developed for National Security Systems (NSS), as defined in 40 U.S.C. § 11103, is exempt. Due to these restrictions, certain pieces of functionality have been removed or rewritten.
I think the AI that helps us find/diagnose/treat diseases is great, and the model should be open to all in the medical field (open to everyone I feel would be easily abused by scammers and cause a lot of unnecessary harm - essentially if you can’t validate what it finds you shouldn’t be using it).
I’m not a fan of these next gen IRC chat bots that have companies hammering sites all over the web to siphon up data it shouldn’t be allowed to. And then pushing these boys into EVERYTHING! And like I saw a few mention, if their bots have been trained on unauthorized data sets they should be forced to open source their models for the good of the people (since that is the BS reason openai has been bending and breaking the rules).
Yeah I’m only playing balanced or whatever the middle/default difficult is. I have 263hrs as of right now and have really been enjoying it. And I’m doing Dark Urge so I’m missing a bunch of content just because of “bad decisions”, and the way I ended up in act 2 I also know I missed a bunch of content. I’m not even close to being done with Act 3 (I don’t think) and I’m already debating if I will do another playthrough afterwards, or play something else from my ever growing backlog. And I’ve never been a 100%'er and usually happy/lucky if I even finish it. 😂
Indeed, I often times will play for a few hours and find all sorts of cool things, but nothing that moves the story along.
Case in point, I have been playing BG3 for months a few hours here and there and I’m only in the beginning parts of Act 3. And before that I dumped probably 400hrs into Elden Ring, and then went back in for many, many more when the DLC came out.
He isn’t even gone from the government, Trump is moving him to be ambassador to the U.N.
And this isn’t happening because of what he did, but because he got caught. He put on display how none of Trump’s hires have any qualifications, and that he is a complete idiot with his denial story. He was then proven even dumber when his claims of no classified material were again proven to be wrong by the reporter publishing proof.
A /64 block of IPv6 is 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 available IP addresses.
If they don’t have the IPv4 addresses they can’t. Could always ask about IPv6, have seen ISP’s give out more than you’d ever need for a home LAN (like a /64).
Edit - I should add, do make sure you have a setup firewall as you will no longer be “protected” by NAT and all the IPv6 addresses are routable to the open Internet.
It sounds like something you could accomplish with a device like the Flipper Zero.
The robotic amoral Zuckerberg that we have come to know as a villain, surely not that one!?
Slam!
duh duh duh, duh duh duh
Let the boys be boys!
All good! The internet makes it even harder to tell because I can’t “read” anyone over the ether.
