So a lot of the times I just use their remote connect to connect to my computer, that way I can load up videos and everything easier than what the quest.

I enjoy mine. It’s fun to get stoned and watch 3d music videos in my hammock.

I’m definitely in the minority of this. And I’m not saying that anybody else feels this way. But it’s been kind of nice with how slow kbin.social updates the hot section. It’s definitely made it so that way I consume way less news. And I’m not checking My phone is much. Not saying you should stay that way, just saying that it’s been an interesting benefit for me personally.

My partner is a teacher and we spend around $200 a month just on snacks for their classroom (snacks have to be individually packaged, and there’s 36 kids per class, so that’s 72 snacks a day, Because the kids have a morning snack and an afternoon snack.) Even with donors, choose PTA and other groups. We just know that there’s a certain amount of our income each month that’s going to go too supporting her classroom. It sucks but we have accepted it, because by us not doing that the kids are just going to suffer.

We’ve been having to have one of us join, Sometimes It takes up to an hour and a half for that one person to get in, And then we’re all able to join off that one person. But man it’s kind of sucked. I have like a very small window to play video games after I get the kiddo down for bed. And like four nights in a row it got to the point where I wouldn’t have had time to even do a 12 minute mission from having to wait for it to connect.

For a while when I had trailers enabled on Plex I would put the anti-piracy one up lol

Yeah I have 12 and a half hours in the game and most of that has been staring at a black screen. Waiting to see if it’ll load

God it was so awkward, it must have been like 2011 because I was freshly 21. And it was at this local bar. And everybody greeted eachother by " the narwhal bacon’s at midnight" and it was just fucking weird. For a while our local subreddit was running a monthly one and then it just kind of stopped.

One time I went to a local Reddit meet up. Yep, it was all that cringy

Cardiac support and ICD support. Those were two ones that I really found valuable after heart surgery and getting a pacemaker that exists on Reddit but I have not been able to find anywhere else. kind of lost a really important support structure to me when I left reddit. I know I could start one here but I’m just not the kind of person who is good at getting people to know about something that’s available.

I 100% agree, but is there any way we could kind of keep working to phase out retarded from common vocabulary. It’s just such a charged and unnecessary word to use as a pejorative.
