Sure here’s a link
Can you elaborate on that for those of us who have never heard of it?
I think so. I think I’ve seen others doing it before lol
I honestly don’t feel that way about Reddit but I do feel that way about sync… I’ll miss sync, unless he ports it over, which he is giving consideration.
Will it appear in my all feed?
I’ve been a thousand times more active on here than I ever was on Reddit. I just want this to succeed. Lemmy seems really cool. I love that it’s decentralized and open source.
I’m still trying to figure that out, like how can I (Lemmy.world) see kbin content? I don’t see any of it I don’t think?
This is good to know!
I’m going to miss sync. Hopefully this app will get better with time. Or maybe some Reddit apps will port over or something. I hope anyway.
I’m not really sure what you mean?
That seems to tell you what instances are linked, but how do I know what was blocked or was there just no blocked instances? I’m still so lost here. Lol
I don’t think you can change it right now but I’m sure that’ll come in an update someday. Until then I’ll probably just stay on the website unfortunately.
How do I know what’s blocked?
But seriously, does anyone actually use paper anymore lol
Super cool!
Do you have any data redundancy? Like that if a hard drive dies? Or worse a hurricane takes out your whole server? What would happen to my newly created account?
You’re on Lemmy.ml which has been repeatedly overwhelmed by the “hug of death” from Reddit. I’m on Lemmy.World which is also overwhelmed sometimes, but the host just doubled the server power. I think Lemmy.ml is at the maximum power and is looking to migrate to a more powerful server.
I’m personally signed up here and on a couple others as alts, it’s nice because I’ve seen each (lemmy.ml, lemmy.world, and beehaw.org) go down with the hug of death.
