Usenet is best net. Learn to use the arrs, Radarr, Sonarr, sabnzbd. Plex/jellyfin, one of many usenet providers like newsgroup ninja. Takes some time to set up, but fully automated once done.

Gpi case 2 would be a cheaper purchase. Only lacking a joystick and two other buttons, which really only os helpful for psx games which run okay at best on cm4 hardware.
Not to mention projects like the analogue pocket were a huge undertaking of many talented and dedicated individuals with the goal of fufiling a dream product. This works for a small team but not so much for a large corporation who’s only motivation is profit.

Like I said, I’d consider that enthusiast level hardware. People who game “professionally” or love real flashy things. You can also spend $1000s to make coffee, or get a $10 French press.

So I could pay $200 for a 1080p streaming device, which I can do on my phone for free, instead of just buying another 1080p TV which I can use for general use? And it’s only in my own household, over wifi assuming the wifi isn’t congested?

That’s more for enthusiast hardware. People pay $1000 for keyboards, but that doesn’t mean they’ll drop $200 for a remote streaming device.

Radarr does a good job at that already for things on my list. No idea if it can do the same for torrents.
It just seems terribly mediocre for a AAA game this decade. Definitely not worth $70, and not something to rush out and play. Maybe something we can enjoy a few years from now with proper updates, maybe some fixes mods.
