“Might as well do X or Y” ya, I think I’ll try telling myself that more with a bit more motivation to actually do it.
Just a happy Fedora Gnome Linux user & metalcore music lover. Drop Acid, Not Bombs!

I pictured way too many dog breeds to this, and embarrassingly I did not consider pugs :P
I can’t barely converse in Spanish, but I’ve been playing Buena Vista Social Club for like the last 15 years, such great music.
Any from the Buena Vista Social Club, album is beautiful, their song Chan Chan is one of my all time favorites:
Thank you! Luckily it’s at my local library so I’ll pick this up first thing tomorrow if they’re open, appreciate your help!
Since you studied the Civil War, I got a book from my grandfather before he passed, Don’t Know Much about The Civil War, by Kenneth C. Davis, and was wondering if you’ve read of heard of this book and if it would be a good resource or not to read about the Civil War? Or if you can recommend another book or author that is great for learning about the Civil War, I’d appreciate any helpful insights as I’m curious to learn more about the Civil War, thank you.
Exploring the Unbeaten Path did a great series on it, they visit Fukushima I think two different times, but here’s one of their more popular video from that series, well worth a watch:

Just to be clear, your statement is disingenuous at best. You didn’t even provide a single example of evidence or fact to back up your claim, but used your own “speculation” as an ultimate authority. You really just sound like someone severely ill informed.
Scrolled way to far to find this! Best one on iOS hands down.
It’s post like this that Lemmy needs that just make my day because I learn just a bit more than what I knew 5 minutes ago, thank you for the thoughtful post.
Some of us never dusted off that ole booty hat, arggggg!!
Sorry I’m out of the loop, but just searched it. Looks like Sync is $2/month or $17/year, is that the pricing people were upset about or? Because that hardly seems like anything to bulk at, but I don’t know the whole situation either.
Appreciate the nitter link, thank you! A few (many?) of us no longer user Twitter actively or even have an account there, it’s essentially de-listed site to avoid for me, but at least with Nitter you can still see some of the content when needed to.
Only managed to pick up about 8 water bottle types, and about 2 small trash bags worth of random debris, rubber, ropes/lines, and for the love of all that is holy why do people smash glass bottles, like come on! But overall getting dirty helped make my area just a tiny bit cleaner for a little while and I can’t complain about that!
I don’t know if I’ll commit as hard and long as you, but nonetheless you have inspired me to walk out this evening with a trash bag to go pick up some litter. Captain Planet would be so proud of us.
Flutter eh? Does that mean you’re using Ubuntu to develop this? If so, far out man 👍
god damn it, i laughed WAY too hard at this. thanks for that, my shame knows no bounds.

I guess Lemmy is mostly tech nerds like myself, but it’s still cool as hell to see another Fedora user around :)
