Depends how close i am to them. If it’s a passive acquaintance I’m like, happy for them but in a fleeting sort of way?

I don’t break down while interacting, but I certainly break down when I get home. Yay masking.
I was corpo brainwashed when I was younger by Walmart, my malleable brain bought into the anti union propaganda and I was at a friend’s house and said something anti union and his dad, a proud union member shot me the fuck down which caused me to actually go out and research what unions do and the history and everything and now I’m a progressive.
Yep. Laid off at the end of July. The market sucks. I’m maybe getting 2 interviews a week on average. Compared to my last job search last year where I had so much ink on my calendar I couldn’t find time for more interviews. Also I’m autistic and interviewing is very hard for me which is why even in that market I took 3 months to find something after my last layoff
Just had mine yeeted 3 weeks ago… and the pain was a relief compared to the pain I was in before… I got by the first couple of days with the oxcodone the doc prescribed in addition to 800mg ibuprofen. After 2 days or so I stopped taking the oxy and took the ibuprofen only for the next week until the big pills were gone and then periodically just taking 400mg as needed for pain. 3 weeks later and there’s no more pain at all and I have started eating things a little more solid woth the dentures I got…
Was thinking the same thing… now, searching through all my SQL scripts for the past year to find the same logic I want to replicate in another script, well that’s different.
Considering all the layoffs this year (including me) I’d say it is NOT a good time to quit.

First board? Not sure what that means… the tutorial? On the nautiloid? You are missing out on so much
No idea. Don’t think I have the physical means to leave the country. I have in demand skills but I am so Far in debt I can’t make financial arrangements and am considered a liability to due debts owed to foreign entities. I’m probably going to go back in the closet taking the hide option by retreating into a cist white het male shell and attempt to reclaim that privilege that may hopefully stop me from getting executed or put in a camp.
You didn’t build a garden in bejeweled. I said original match 3 and build. I was playing bejeweled on a flip phone. Didn’t know about shariki.
Gardenscapes is the original match 3 and build a mansion and is still my favorite. There are micro transactions to get additional power ups, but the fact that they are constantly updating with new seasonal events and you never run out of levels
It’s the same reason people thought Stephen Colbert was a champion of conservatism until he moved to the tonight show.
Actually, Alfredo is an amazing name for that little goi
