Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•You can only drink one drink for the rest of your life, but it cannot be water. What do you pick?
3·3 years agoAgreed, basically what I live off anyhow. But then it is leaf water, so unsure if the rules would allow!

2·3 years agoOh that’s a shame, it was great being able to split tasks between 2 of you

Gaming@beehaw.org•A little doodle, cus I am hopelessly hooked on Pikmin 4
2·3 years agoI didn’t realise it had already been released. Definitely getting the game ASAP. The couch coop of the last game was great, hopefully it’ll be the same/similar for this one

1·3 years agoThank you, yes please. Record profits over the past few years!
I might have seen enough bean content for one lifetime.
I like the idea of hobbies and interests being a part. Might help see if we have strong potential ‘niche’ communities
I think they had gender split, country etc. It’d be nice to know if kbin mirrors more of the reddit general membership or if it differs
Never tried in the tin but beans and sausages are a classic combo
In the actual tin? Or cooked separately?
We suggesting Branston’s instead?
Everyone is different! I like to think of them as different tools, so whatever works best for the job at hand.
Honestly I find that making physical hand written notes better cements the ideas in my head. It may be because I’m older so I started with only pen and paper which means that’s how I best think, but for me writing and typing are two different tools and I tend to use both.

Science@beehaw.org•Walkable Neighborhoods Help Adults Socialize, Increase Community
4·3 years agoSo I walk everywhere and have often found community and society while walking. I even find that places people say aren’t friendly actually are, but you just need to walk them regularly and say good morning to people. Cars separate people from the other people in cars and often just create a load of stress.
It’s a odd choice, especially with actual print magazines becoming more niche. I assume it has some reason which ties into the history of kbin but I’m a relatively new user so not sure.
I’m on kbin and they are called magazines, but I think communities are a better catch all. Everyone knows what you mean by that
Hah it was something similar if not a little more about billionaire simps…
So I found the official app awful and insanely slow, I always assumed it was my phones fault though. Literally gave up on things loading several times.
Happy to be on kbin instead!
I couldn’t agree more, discussion is a lot more civil. Even when we’re all disagreeing I’ve found people are giving each other room to put their point forward and listened (apart from one climate chnage thread but nothings perfect).

And then you can’t get back to sleep after…
