Maybe I just haven’t had enough coffee yet, but I’m having a hard time determining which side you’re on. Are you saying it’s good that reddit is doing this?

The only time that might work is if it’s a nice, expensive and well kept car. But then with that I doubt you’re too worried about being harassed in the first place.
Lol, no it doesn’t and no don’t do this. Especially don’t do it on a “ghetto” looking van. This will make you even more of a target.
This moron has a PD sticker thinking we’ll leave him alone. Obviously he’s up to something.
Oh I didn’t know about this either. Thanks! About to set that up right now!
Now this is something I’m interested in! I think I’m going to pick up that 3040 to set up and play around with since it’s so cheap. The i5-6500 should handle it well enough, right?
Never mind. I see now that Proxmox is a type 1 hypervisor now.
To be completely honest, I’m familiar enough with all of this to get myself in trouble and work my way back out of it and that’s about it.
I was only trying to get away from the VM because if I’m away and the PiHole craps out, I can tell my wife “hold down the power button and reset the 3040” as opposed to trying to walk her through the VM setups.
I’ve got Windows set up to log back in upon reboots (Windows updates and whatnot), then start up Plex, arrs, etc. But I couldn’t get the VMWare VM to turn on automatically.
What prompted all of this was the 8 GB SD filling to 100% and freezing up my PiHole, blocking internet access due to the DNS server being down.
So… I was trying to knock out both of those issues with the separate - PiHole and wife, restarts and VMs.
But you’re saying I can get Proxmox running on the 3070 I already have (i5-9500T, 32 GB RAM, W11 Pro) and have it auto start and run everything?
Can you tell me a little more about these? What is the “demo scene,” how were they made, and why were they made?
Get the Logitech G600 and have essentially 24 buttons on the side (12 + a “shift” button to give each of those 12 a different command).
To be fair, I only use about 6 of those buttons, haha.
I got it back up! I was able to reset the database user’s password.
I had no idea that’s what it was for. I hadn’t added mine for fear of spam but this makes way more sense now.
Yeah, I completely agree. I loved the vertical tabs and I’ve almost gone back several times. I hope Mozilla is working on those two and sleeping tabs.
I used to do a lot of cross country driving. Here are my recommendations:
AAA membership if you don’t feel comfortable changing your own tires, a good lug nut wrench and bottle jack if you can do it. There’s a lot of areas where you’re “in the middle of nowhere” and it can take some time for any support to get to you. Make sure your spare has air. Audiobooks, podcasts, and playlists downloaded. There may be long stretches of no service. If you can download the Google Map or Apple Map for your trip, it’s not a bad idea. Non-messy snacks, gum, and a small cooler of drinks if you want to save money. Gas station food/ drinks add up. There are a few apps to check rest areas/ bathroom recommendations. I liked Trucker’s Path but it’s been a while since I’ve travelled like that so there may be others/ better ones. Get a dash cam before you go. There’s a lot of idiots out there. And the more you’re on the road, the more likely something could happen. Plan a little time to make some extra stops if you can. There’s a lot of neat stuff you can do on your way that you won’t know about until you see signs for them. Or check Google Maps for places to stop on your route. Get out and stretch your legs somewhere fun. And when you start to get hungry, look for good local spots to stop and eat. There are TONS of options that are so much better than the chain restaurants. Look for 4-5 star places in the area on Google Maps.
So is eneba a bad place to purchase PSN digital codes from, as well?
If you used Lemmy-Easy-Deploy, the docker name is lemmy-easy-deploy-postgres-1
docker exec -it lemmy-easy-deploy-postgres-1 busybox /bin/sh
Same for me!
I completely agree. I’ve been hopping on in the morning and in the evening and I don’t feel like I’ve missed anything and I still feel like I’m contributing. The total opposite of how it was with Reddit.
I bought the domain through Cloudflare and when setting the CNAME and A records it automatically proxied them so I didn’t even think about it at the time.
Honestly, I don’t even know. It was in the advanced settings on Lemmy-Easy-Deploy and I missed it and spent like 2 hours troubleshooting until I saw that, lol.
.win is a $3 domains on Cloudflare and shouldn’t have issues of being revoked (like .ml is going through and others could potentially face).
I am running on Lemmy-Easy-Deploy but it seems to be abandoned. How do you have yours set up?
