You make it sound like they live on the moon. While there might be no easy “law abiding” way to get to them, this doesn’t exactly sound like a law abiding conversation.

I’m 42 and uncircumcised, born and raised in America. My entire life the total sum of what it’s amounted to from locker rooms to relationships is pretty close to “huh, ok then”. I can’t promise it will be the same for your son but it’s been a total non-issue in my life.

But people are more than 7" thick. It depends on how you interpret it I guess, I read it as moving 7" in any direction which means you’ll still overlap with your own body, but if you read it as there being a 7" gap between where you were and where you are now then it would work.

There’s actually a company called Helion which is trying to skip the steam turbine step completely with fusion energy. Although generally speaking you’re correct, they’re kind of the exception that proves the rule.

Or they stop trying to lock people in with exclusive games and instead attempt to actually compete by the quality of the service. I know it will never happen but I can dream.

It’s possible that I’m also hoping that the sequel won’t take a decade to release if they’re able to reuse most of Night City from the fist game.

Yeah, I know what it’s based on, and I think you’re probably right that most of the setting in the original tabletop game takes place in Night City, but I don’t know if that means that CDPR will follow that lead or not you know? Obviously I hope they do but currently no one outside of that company has any idea what the plan is as far as I know so all I can do is hope.

I find the plastic floss picks work really well because they are flatter than regular tooth picks. It has to be the type where the back part is a pick as that’s the part that I use.

Ok, call it whatever you want, I’m not really into labels. For context I believe in universal basic income, socialized healthcare, prison as a tool for rehabilitation instead of punishment, strong government regulations for corporations, high speed Internet access as a state run utility, and a bunch of other stuff that I don’t feel like listing out.

Anecdotally this hasn’t been true for me. I spent my 20s barely getting by. In my 30s and early 40s I’ve had a series of lucky breaks that have enabled me to move into a much higher paying job resulting in luxuries like home ownership, retirement money etc. and if anything I’ve become more liberal.

I also don’t have or want children so maybe that factors in?

This is in the US so your experience obviously may differ but we recently bought a house that needed a completely new roof. We actually had to back out of the deal once because the seller refused to pay any portion of the roof. It took the house sitting on the market for another 3 months before they finally agreed to cover just half the cost of a new roof and at that point we were tired of looking and just wanted a house so we accepted the offer. Our new roof looks great and we’re happy with the house but paying for half of a roof was an expensive add-on to the purchase for sure.
