5·1 year agoGonna be the odd one out here and say that all of these names are kinda stupid, but Lemmyverse is probably the best of the bunch.

3·1 year agoJust like normal ram, if you have more to use then it’ll get used. It doesn’t mean it requires more than 8gb in order to run well.
I played all of Cyberpunk on high settings with 8gb.

58·1 year agoEven 8GB is fine to be honest, even at high settings. People are a bit dramatic about it.

You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK if you browse Lemmy on desktop/in browser, the Lemmy Universal Link Switcher script makes browsing between instances significantly less annoyingEnglish
3·1 year agohttps://sh.itjust.works/post/36117903/18008043
Click this and then try to post a comment. There’s the issue.
The script redirects all links to your home instance. You posted that comment from https://lemmy.zip/ which is where you have your account, hence no issue. If I link you this post from another instance (see above), you won’t be able to interact.

You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK: If the frontpage constantly looks like the same 5 - 8 posts, try sorting by "Hot".
2·1 year agoMight be worth bringing it up in the voyager community. That definitely shouldn’t be the case.

1·1 year agoIt should work fine. Filtering by one instance will show all Lemmy content. You can use a script to ensure you always land back on your instance.
