2·1 month agoThere is an argument that token costs can be recorded as operational expenditure but it’s the same argument used for cloud infrastructure, so many companies are going to get hit with multimillion dollar bills for tokens, which will have the effect of reeling in and limiting token usage or moving away from it completely.

Just as religion and state must be separated so must politics and money. If you hold more than $10 million in assets you don’t get to influence politics. It’s one or the other, not both.
