It still feels like that’s crossing a boundary, i don’t know how you feel about that. I do recommend practicing socializing. Go to bars, events, etc. and just try to make conversation with people. Yeah you may start off being awkward, but you’ll get more comfortable as you practice.
yeah embarrassed for your dad. “evolve” wtf. this is too little context, but this can range from your dad genuinely caring about you(“complain you’re unable to find girls”) but the execution isn’t great, to just wanting to push you into doing certain things. This definitely requires a conversation with your dad about boundaries.
On another note, if you are trying to find people to date, you should figure why things aren’t working there, and see how you can improve your chances ( are you well kept? are you comfortable talking to new people? do you expose yourself to new people in order to both meet new people and also practice talking to new people? )
Thanks for all the info. He talks about learning about Nvidia in the past, and mentions talking about breaking it up. That doesn’t sound like a business man talking about getting involved in the company, or competing against it, that sounds like a politician wanting to address a very strong company. Trump has only been a politician for the past 9 years. So Trump just found out about the largest chip designer in the world 9 years ago… That seems absurd to me.
I’m not familiar with the above distros, but I’m pretty certain there’s more people on Ubuntu which helps a lot with troubleshooting and finding solutions online. One option is, when installing any Linux OS, is to create a separate partition for “home/”. that way, you can reinstall any other Linux based OS, and keep most of your files installed.
Excel doesn’t work on Linux, but LibreOffice and Google sheets do.
Not sure where you live, but look for hiking date events, bars with single nights, etc. Usually more guys which is great for you. The few I’ve ever gone to were very casual and fun and I’ve made some cool friends.
I don’t think Bill Clinton has that much pull honestly. But important Democrats or important donors maybe.
Sadly, that won’t happen if both D’s and R’s have people or large financial supporters on the list. Best case I can imagine is that those top people end up in jail which shakes up both parties. The 2 party system is a result of our voting system (winner takes all for most positions), so it’s bad to have a 3rd party similar to your own (which gets your own voters potentially siphoned off), or have be a 3rd party similar to another party (which means you’re weakening the party closest to your own, and helping the party most different from yours). regardless of whether it affects the 2 party system, getting that list published is important for justice.
I don’t get how you can think Taxes aren’t the answer but removing stocks are. Billionaires exist because they have a lot of money in some form and are able to reinvest that money to get more money. If you remove stocks, they will find another way to have a lot of money, whether that’s owning a lot of business, buying up properties etc. Start applying a sort of wealth tax, disallow financial influence in election (putting actual limits on spending), fix the loophole for passing on wealth to children with little to no tax, etc. There really isn’t a simple solution, but a wide range of changes that need to be done in my opinion.
if you don’t use your phone very much, why even spend 500 USD on it? you can probably get a 200 usd phone to serve the same function. Honest question.
I’m a bit confused why there’s a profit share indicator on the legend when seemingly none profit share. Otherwise, this is very cool!
I take off the pit by rubbing the knife against the sink so it pops off in the sink, and doesn’t dirty anything I can’t clean easily.
How nice of you man. Looking for an offline game for my little cousin, 9. He had really only played shooters, so I’ll take anything you recommend. Sans a recommendation, I’d take bot vice.
Nah that dude was very mexican. Should have tried to not do that.
Yes that does make sense, thanks for that information!
Yo this is sick. Shane they appear to only have two designs only. Extremely interesting regardless
You kind of go over why CAD is good, but can you explain more, for laymen like myself?
TLDW: Foxhole allows the environment to change in ways other games don’t (snow causing direct death, visibility problems, rain causing mud which slows units down etc. ), and also providing options for dealing with these environmental concerns, gives off a realistic war feeling. This in combination with the fact that foxhole allows and requires players to participate in all aspects of fighting a war (material extraction, weapon manufacturing, transport manufacturing, transportation, building of defenses, actual fighting), help provide a feeling of participating in a war that other milsims don’t show.
Admittedly, I feel like this game doesn’t satisfy what people are looking for in a milsim. Foxhole is a top down shooter, while most milsims are over the shoulder 3rd person or 1st person with a huge focus on tactics and execution. Foxhole seems to pull out a bit more, still allowing tactics planning and execution, but overal strategy and logistics are also added into the game.
Good point. I don’t know why I didn’t think about this sooner, i literally use it for other programming stuff.
watched the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZPWbpOnZ-8
Kirk actually has a good point in that those lines are from the old testament, which Christians believe doesn’t apply, and only believe in the new testament. Assuming Kirk is right that it isn’t in the new testament ( the Cambridge speaker doesn’t contest it either, for whatever that is worth). From the the student then pivots to talking about a new testament description along the lines of: Man shall not sleep with man, which he says can be interpreted differently than man and man and could be man and prostitute. Kirk contends that the traditions and interpretations were created during the time that the writings were created, and so there is no loss of translation then, and those understandings have been passed down until down consistently. I will say, i’ve summised this, but it is a lot more of a meandering argument afterwards that is not very interesting to watch.
I feel like the cambridge student shouldn’t have even brought up the lines in videos above because it doesn’t completely apply to Kirk’s religious beliefs. The student studied the bible decently enough to make his point, but it seemed he needed additional context of Kirk’s beliefs to make a strong point against Kirk.
