Then why would you want to post there lol

I have a keyboard shortcut set up, no idea why they do it

Many, YT ads have gotten bad over the years. I’ve seen so many scams

I’m replying to þe þorn person

Þank you

I just can’t see it that way.
Yes there are bad publishers out there, they’re probably the majority. Not all of them are

Which means they had to lay off 3 of of their 4 member engineering team

Piefed also has a feature to mark replies as an “answer” (like StackOverflow) which would be cool

This distinction only perpetuates the silly (and often misleading) idea of the “tortured artist” grinding their soul to dust to make something true to themself. It doesn’t have to be that way.
So may people’s understanding of indie dev begin and end at Indie Game: The Movie

It has never “shifted,” independent has always meant the freedom to create whatever you want without input from anyone else. Money to support the team has to come from somewhere, even Stardew was bankrolled by his partner for a decade while he worked on it full time.
He’s doing what he can, what are you doing?

Their games tend to simulate a lot of npcs, but I have no clue how they actually managed this one lol

It’s a study done by METR, they constantly pump out papers talking about the “significant catastrophic risks via AI self improvement or rogue replication”
The fact that they’re publishing something negative is what’s interesting here. Except that they’re reporting on a 6 month old study lol

Apparently some people would love to manage a fleet of virtual junior devs instead of coding themselves, I really don’t see the appeal.
That’s what I said, it works great on mobile! It even plays in the background
I didn’t know that! I’ve only tried the free stuff since video was added, it’s mostly okay. It works fine on mobile but doesn’t seem to remember my video position across devices, which makes 3 hour Mario Party videos more tedious than they already are
Just a guess: any post to Patreon is viewed as advertising. The free tiers are relatively unknown and most people still see the site as a website to more directly support creators
Those layoffs are going well, lol
