Right? The text service I use doesn’t allow video. Sometimes it won’t allow large photos either lol
Honestly, I may have gotten lucky because I didn’t need to do much rust removal. Took them outside and hosed them down, then got to work removing the burnt in bits and evening out the seasoning. Took me about two afternoons per pan. One of the pans is definitely an antique, so I haven’t used it because it might have lead in it
When I bought my house I discovered a treasure trove of old cast iron pans in the (very modern) oven. They all looked like this and smelled like rancid oil. It was not fun to deal with lol
There’s four justices over the age of 70 (one is Sotomayor). Not that age means much in regards to mortality when one has the resources that they do
For some reason Lady and the Tramp reminded my mother of The King and I. So I had to watch both in the same week for the first time, and it was a very weird experience lol
Edit: I just looked them up and they were made four years apart! I assumed the Disney movie was made in the 80s because I saw it in the 90s lol
I’ve been patiently waiting for moths pondering orbs
It does feel like there’s a new wave of change, I have no idea if it’s due to new reddit refugees or general discontent. But yes, there does seem to be a lot more down voting, more quarrelsome comments, less cohesion within some communities.
There’s also been a few posts sprinkled across instances discussing some accounts that do nothing but down vote. No comments, no posts, just down votes
To be fair, I am also a millennial, but most of my friends were surprised when I told them about that correction I received from the younger generation. I guess that says more about my friends than millennials overall lol
I’ve heard from Gen Z that ending a text response with a period is passive aggressive. So “cool” may have seemed glib on its own, but the punctuation might be giving an additional, if unintentional, tone
Uhhh… that thing where people glue little strands of hair to their forehead in an arc
Do you mean styling baby hairs?
My cats are fed in separate rooms for the same reason. I put a little collar activated flap on one door so the picky one could eat without my youngin sniping her food. He’s still trying to figure out how to get in that room, I’m a little surprised he hasn’t tried to brute force it yet lol
Thank you for your attention to this matter!
Did one of the college interns write this?
Oh, yeah. I didn’t mean to imply that getting a job with a disability is easy or that employers actually follow laws. I was more trying to point out that a personality disorder is a disability, because most people won’t see it that way

My therapist told me that a diagnosis of a mental health disorder means you have a disability*. So if they choose not to hire you because of your ASPD diagnosis, in the US at least, that’s discrimination against a protected class. I have AvPD, and that was a concern for me too
*(although many disorders don’t always earn the label “disability” when a person is seeking benefits)
High pH is basic btw. I’m assuming you meant low pH with the reference to soda
My acid reflux has nothing to do with acidic or basic foods, and everything to do with the ratio of fat I’ve eaten or how many alcoholic drinks I’ve had in an evening. Beer is about a hundred times less acidic than soda (for reference) and soda doesn’t set my reflux off
My point is that human bodies are weird and we react in weird ways to food. That’s why we have to trial foods
Maybe you can use a reloadable visa card?
My 16yo cat is definitely a prim and proper old lady. Oddly, I call the 4yo Maine Coon “little man” even though he’s easily 4x the old lady’s size
I’m probably forever going to call my dog “bestest girl”, but she’s starting to get a grey muzzle too
