Pretty sure funding has been approved and it’s going to be back up and running again.

Sucks when you have kids with them and a shared friendship group.
If only Palmer Lucky had gone all in on teledildonics instead of whatever defence crap he’s peddling these days. We’d all be eating that sweet robot ass.
The Finance Director was fired for being a sex pest. This was after years of hiring policy that basically meant all PMs were his particular type (blonde, big boobs).
Project manager in the creative industries. One place I worked had this policy of moving receptionists into project management. Zero experience and zero training prior to starting.
Aviation maps for drone licenses theory exam. This was before they updated the legislation and you had to actually study aviation.
Other than that I’ve bought OS maps for hiking purposes. Also tried to buy some custom areas to create a custom map poster but it was basically impossible so I ended up building it myself from screenshots.
Capture One is great. Better than LR for many things, especially tethered shooting, but I still need LR for specific workflows (timelapse processing).
Bangkok, went with low expectations as everyone I’ve spoken to who had been said they didn’t enjoy it. We ended up extending our stay be cause there was so much to see, I could’ve happily spent a week wandering around the markets and exploring China town.
Saw a good few of those before I knew what they were and almost convinced myself it was aliens. Very cool to see.
We talking Indian hot lime pickle? I’m intrigued…
Best crepe I ever had. I like to make them with gouda and hot honey. Goats cheese and normal honey also slaps.
The sky, clouds, atmospheric optics, stars, satellites. People should look up more.
Playing Alien Isolation in VR. I couldn’t get past the medical bay level level due to actual fear of death by heart attack.
Looks awesome, I’ll keep an eye on that! If you haven’t heard of Cabbibo you should definitely check out his work. This one fits in this thread nicely: Blaarp
I’m 200 hours in with no wins! It’s the first game that’s really grabbed me since I transitioned away from flatscreen gaming to VR a few years back.
Started reading your comment and was just about to recommend you play Noita lol.
You weren’t tempted to try the reindeer piss method?
Depending on the salt you can make both blue and green. Copper sulphate flame test is a pretty common school lab practical isn’t it?
Old friend went hard on research chems for a few years. I remember seeing a spreadsheet with more than a dozen variants of DMT, quite well organised with loads of notes. The thing that stuck with me was one of them had a big bold warning ‘do not take with xxx you will die’. He’s OK now but it all culminated with him nearly killing a mutual friend and being committed to a mental institution for a few months.

BLARP! I suppose it’s a physics game but I’m not aware of anything else quite like it. It’s incredibly simple, addictive, and could only really exist as a VR game.
Shout out to Superhot and Noita, already mentioned in this thread.
