Co-maps generally works good for me, bht the bjg disadvantage is it has no traffic data (I think this might be inherently incompatable with standard foss, would love to be wrong though). So my go to when driving is HERE wego, which works well and is up to date (and not evil as far as I know)

Omarchy was getting a lot of attention when first released. The two major issues are that the guy that made it is very right wing (the term fascist was thrown around, I have not read up myself so do not now the details) and although it looks good it has a lot of technical issues, this blog post goed into more details if interested: https://マリウス.com/a-word-on-omarchy/

He did actually, even after losing whomever the greeks were fighting (Persians?), they send some boats up river to Athens, presumably to tell the city they won and extort whatever they could. So it was important that the Athenians knew the battle was won before the boats arrived.
