My rent was about $200 bucks cheaper each month but I can sell this and my payments go towards something I own rather than something the landlord owns.

Plus I can upgrade something I own in ways I’m not going to do as a renter.

I just got my own domain and set my Gmail account to auto forward. Gradually moving away from using it (I was in the same boat).

Edit: Of course my backend is Microsoft for the time being so ‘into the fire’ I guess.

Starfield got me and I should know better by now than to pre-order. I just figured it’d be the usual ‘Bethesda puts out crap that modders quickly sort’ but the it ended up being ‘fast travel, the game’ which seems hard to fix.

I can be a bit abrasive when I’m annoyed. And I think lethal force can be a legitimate answer to some (few) problems. Reddit didn’t like that.

Maybe I’m wrong, but my organization just went full ‘we don’t understand AI so don’t use it ever,’ which is the other side of the same coin.

I work in a career where some folks can really drink the coolaid… But, like, we’re not really changing anything? At all.

But who cares? It is what it is - do the job, get paid, go home and do something fun.

Oh for sure - I’ve been calling myself an Absurdist for years. It just fits and makes the most sense to me.

This is how I’ve made sense of the world… Nothing actually matters so I get to choose what matters to me.

That metal body was so nice. Plus you could unlock just about every part of an HTC.
