I mean, I wouldn’t want to eat inorganic food. What would that even be, pure salt?

Damn. Did they ever find your actual source code in there
A million spacebucks? That’s unfair!
I learned in SQL class that you never ever hard delete data when there is any alternative. On Facebook and Twitter you get a whole month to change your mind before your account can’t be recovered.
This was actually a major confounding factor in the original marshmallow experiment. They never thought that kids wouldn’t trust the promise of additional marshmallow later.
My parents have always been pretty conservative but it didn’t make too much difference until I came out as trans and then covid happened. I try not to stand up to them too much because I don’t want to be kicked out.
I just grab a floss pick, go sit in front of my computer, and floss while distracting myself with something else. That way I don’t have to devote any focus or effort to flossing and it goes by much easier.
The narwhal bacons at midnight!
Creating a local account shows it, thanks! I’m not super used to how the fediverse works yet.
Where on that instance is the porn? All I’m seeing on the front page is SFW pics of celebrities in their respectively named sublemmies.
Here in Texas most of the gas pumps have two or three notches for the latch to go in, so the speed is adjustable. It seems to me like the highest setting is usually pretty close to just holding down the handle at full blast, minus a little bit of play in order to get the latch into and out of the notch.
I can’t wait for LiF.
I’m also hopeful for more creator-owned services like Nebula and Dropout. They tend to run off extremely cheap subscription models (about $5 a month for Dropout, less than $2 a month for Nebula) and all that money goes to the creators with very little business overhead in the way.
Electrolytes are chemicals that can ionize to carry current. Table salt is one electrolyte, but potassium and magnesium salts are also required by the human body. Nerves work by sending electrical signals, so they need these electrolytes in order for them to carry those signals throughout the body. The problem is, the amount of electrolytes available to nerves depends on the amount present in the bloodstream, and when sweat glands pull water out of the bloodstream, they also take some electrolytes with it. That’s why you need to replenish them after sweating. If you don’t, your nerves won’t work as well and your muscles will have a hard time coordinating. The specific ions you need to organize muscle contraction are sodium, potassium, and magnesium, so if you’re low in any of those, then you risk weakness and cramps. So it’s not quite as simple as just drinking table salt.
