I’ll take a stab at it.

There are no known owl species that naturally grow up to 16 pounds. The rest of the numbers are just as meaningless.

If you wanted to check what it would take for a random owl species to migrate across the ocean from europe to north america, that’s something we can kind of check.

After a bit of lookup, it seems that the burrowing owl needs about 50-75 calories a day at rest to live, flight multiplies those calories by a factor of roughly 9.2 times. (I’mma round up to 10 because fuck it.) So 500-750 a day of pure flight at a speed of somewhere between 2 and 33 mph. I’m going to settle at 20 because I like easy numbers and I feel like it’s not too crazy fast. So 20 miles per hour across 24 hours gets us a distance of 480 miles. Iceland and Scotland are 500 miles away. Assuming any of these assumptions are at all fair, it seems like an owl hellbent on crossing the ocean could manage to do it with laser guidance in less than two days without access to ground based food.

I would have to post something that people interact with… I’m not that kind of person. I usually get none to one reply to stuff I post, I think the highest mine has ever gone is three. I also couldn’t keep up with it.

It’s usually a mixed bag. I tend to play with the same group semi monthly that understands none of us are trying to go win a tournament, and when I can’t play with them I bring out the group hug/slug decks and just watch the combo folks do their thing.

Ah. Then you’re well versed already. I have played through it enough times at this point that I actively and purposefully grind the materials I need well ahead of time, though I don’t think I’ve ever 100%'d the game. I think the worst was getting the death prevention accessories for my group so I could take on the angel of death without getting one shot. But I have spent an exorbitant amount of time leveling off loopers near their landmark.

Skies can certainly be slow. Though if you feel like grinding levels you can do that after yafutoma and pretty much one turn the normal fights and makes the ship battles much smoother.

I hear anything at or above 8k resolution negates the need for anti aliasing entirely… But I feel that my pc would would be running at or around 10-15 fps for most games I would care about anti aliasing on.

Nice in theory, definitely can’t handle that many pixels in reality.

I do it when I leave. It’s interesting for me to do it on discord servers and notice how the conversation still flows smoothly like i was never a part of it in the first place.

And I just went to look up the homicide numbers for Philly out of instinct. 262 last year… Which is 36% less than the previous year. And still higher per capita than Houston.

It’s been in development for so long that Imma give it roughly the same amount of time before I purchase it. They’ll have everything sorted by then.

Those dial up days on avp2 were peak gaming though. I don’t want them to return, but I remember those days very well.

I can say I was long ago when it was roughly “women’s rights should be equivalent to men’s rights” in terms of personal, work, social values and features.

These days and especially in the last 10 years I don’t think the umbrella of feminism is large enough to encompass all of the discrimination I have seen through my time existing.

The long and the short of it is people’s rights should be similar when applicable, the same when possible.

I have an emotional support brit I vent to at times, and they in return vent back to me about their day. Since we’re not on the same continent and generally don’t hang out with the same groups it’s very relieving to be able to tell someone literally anything about yourself and know that information is safely sealed a significant portion of the world away from you.

If only I could replay Journey as a new experience again. There were so many revelations at the end for someone who went in knowing nothing about it that really made it a powerful experience.

It would be incredible if somehow every streamer and tuber just stopped broadcasting anything Nintendo, which seems to be something Nintendo wants. I wonder how much of a hit they’d take without those content creators.

Any idea if they are playing the games solo (where possible) or with a group? They do all support multiplayer, and it’s kind of important to understand why they play the games they play.
