Some of the others are 90% there on quality, which is enough for me to ditch Lego. I can’t accept their insane pricing anymore and the color consistency is also getting worse.

If you mean flying cars that will replace regular cars, I don’t think anyone ever tried it really. There have been prototype cars with wings but no one took that seriously. More recently what everyone keeps trying is drones as taxis but I hope that fails because I don’t want that noise pollution.
You can’t prepare for a collapse because the circumstances will be unpredictable and probably not how you imagine.
What you can do is prepare for temporary events like blackouts, floods and so on. The German civil protection office has some helpful guidelines: https://www.bbk.bund.de/EN/Prepare-for-disasters/prepare-for-disasters_node.html

On average between 400 and 450 euros. I live alone, do home cooking (mostly), vegetarian or vegan and I rarely look at prices when I shop groceries. Only if the final amount is surprisingly high I look at the receipt and will adjust my decisions next time.
So you are interested in how to peel a hard boiled egg? Let me tell you first about the history of the egg and its impact on society…

I used it a few times with measurements around the house but sure, it’s not a daily occurrence.
What most annoys me about imperial are the recipes. Why the fuck do you not weigh your ingredients? Instead you have to put everything in these measuring cups, shake it or even press it in so it sits flat. How many carrots is 1 cup of diced carrots? With experience you will know but if it said grams, you could weigh the whole thing in the store and be done with it. It doesn’t need to be very precise with cooking but you get the idea.
But don’t get me started on baking recipes…

The EU is not a big enough market to justify a whole new, free iOS browser with a different engine that doesn’t work elsewhere. Which is why this EU policy was effectively useless.

I agree but I think it’s alright to have rescued pets. Would be better if they didn’t need to be rescued but that’s the way it is.

I lived alone for most of my life and I agree. Had a friend from another country visit and sleep at my place for a week and even though I like him I am glad he’s gone now. It’s my safe space.

Women in Hentai are just hollow. You can push through from top to bottom.

Pasta Napoli
Chili sin carne
Tofu Tika Masala
Spaghetti Cacio e pepe

I agree that Skibidi was trash. But 6 7 is honestly kinda funny because no one really gets it, it’s not annoying and you can sneak it into regular conversations without notice, while anyone who’s in on it can have a giggle. That’s true internet culture if you ask me.
I try not to be too judgmental because it’s just a new internet generation and I’m old.

With a splash of pink/red/purple.
Occasionally there is still some meme that stands out and lasts for a few weeks or more. See Skibidi Toilet or 6 7. But mostly it became much less interesting because everything is monetized now.
Most of the ones you mentioned were before 2010. I believe internet culture started dying with Gangnam Style. That’s when thing have gone mainstream and not an inside joke anymore.
But yes, real world events also kinda ruined everything.

Just recently I was driving down a road, it was sunset and the whole sky was just a very bright yellow like I’ve never seen before. With the black mountains (because the sun was behind) in the background as contrast it looked so amazing I thought „Damn you nature, you’re distracting me from driving!“. And because I was driving I couldn’t even snap a picture! People would say I photoshopped it anyways.

I disagree. Am 40 now and still find new music (and genres) I like.

Someone finally pressing the red button and end this failure of a species.
Oh I know that story:
