I tore my rotator cuff and was told by my ins that i had to have an X-ray first. Of course the tear did not show up and the ins was still saying no need for any scan. My Dr’s office called them and was advocating for me, but the scan was denied until ins was told that I couldn’t even pull up my own pants! Suddenly the scan was allowed and the tear was found.
Maybe you need someone to inform them of a real-life consequence, like maybe it caused you to trip and hit your head?
I met him when I was 16, dated him for 6 years, and have been married to him for just about 50 years.
You know, if that all powerful god of theirs wants the Zionists to have their own land, he should just poof a land of milk and honey out in the middle of the ocean. He could move the temple too, if he wanted.
That way everyone could live in peace.
I’ll move to it in a second. Protein with no need to slaughter animals would be so fantastic for the animals, the earth, and people.
I don’t think that’s right. She’s been released on bond to house arrest; the charges still stand.
It’s badly worded. She fell in a sinkhole while looking for her cat. She was found dead after 4 days. The headline could have been clearer if they’d included the words “while” and “has been”. *Grandmother who fell down a sinkhole while looking for her cat has been found dead. *
The cat may be dead, but the headline doesn’t say so.
I think the headline states the grandmother was found dead, after falling down a sinkhole while searching for her cat.
If someone is attempting to use her card, maybe it’s time to talk to police? That’s illegal, right?
His mom is in assisted living, not a nursing home. My mom is also in assisted living. She’s got a stove in her apartment, she can cook her own meals if she wants to! Until recently, she could drive herself to Walmart if she felt like it. She has decorated her apartment in her own style because–get this–it’s her home!!
Plus he hasn’t said one thing about pointing a camera at his mother’s bathroom!
It is her home. How disheartening to see you think it isn’t.
Do not give your senior pet to an animal rescue. I think the mental anguish they’d experience they’d suffer from feeling abandoned would hurt them so, so much.
Do your best. Talk to your vet and ask for guidance.
We all face this, eventually. It is hard to face that our cherished pet is aging, but it’s our duty to see them through.
I do not know where I got this from, but I thought all dogs were male and all cats were female. I thought this while I had a dog named Betsy and a cat named Sebastian.
If that’s not bad enough on its own, I think I was in first or second grade when I learned the surprising truth. I wasn’t a dumb kid, either. I learned to read when I was about 3.5 yrs old and started 1st grade as a 5 yr old.
I’m now in my 70s and I still can’t figure out where I got that from!
My gastro uses propofol. When they wake you up, you are wide awake. No stoned as balls over here, alas.
I love the name Otis. It’s such a classic.
Are you living life on your own and making it ok? Are the voices/conversations interfering with what you want or need to do? Are they interfering with your relationships?
That’s a lot of questions, but my nephew would have answered No to the first question and Yes to the others. He’s a diagnosed schizophrenic, and I’m telling you about him because getting on meds turned his life around. He’s working now, has an apartment and is maintaining relationships.
I know it’s frightening, but you’ve had two doctors diagnose you. It might be worth trying the meds. Ask if there are programs that can help you pay.
I hope things work out for you.
Someone called me a libtard under his breath, but loudly enough to make sure I heard…in a CANCER center, where many of us were having our immune systems weakened by chemo.
You can’t fix stupid so I don’t even try. I’ve been in remission for almost two years, I’m healthy and he’s out there sucking in viruses. We both have ticking clocks, but mine is ticking much more slowly than his is.
It is exactly as quacky as quacks.
When done correctly, this is always the outcome.
South Louisiana here. It can be used affectionately (seeing a sick child and saying Bless your heart) but I find it is more often used to point out someone’s lack of intelligence or bad behaviour (Karen is pitching an absolute fit in the checkout lane at Albertsons because she misread a price label…Bless her heart)
Maybe you’re from a more polite area of the south, but where I am we are heavily into calling out morons.
You’d still be paying sales tax, income tax, property tax and presumably participating in voting. Plus you’d be opening up a job for another person. All of that is contributing to society, imo.
I’d probably still volunteer for something. As a retired person, there are a lot of hours to fill!
