This subreddit is the reason I jumped ship before the blackouts. I loved interacting with people there and I don’t want to participate in what’s it’s likely to become. Once the third party mod tools are gone there will be no relatively safe spaces for the ladies on Reddit. I don’t want any part of the trolling and misogyny that’s being unleashed over there.

Regardless of who stays and who goes back I fully expect we will see sharing of content with reddit here just like we saw content from Twitter and TikTok over there. I’m not worried in the slightest about “missing” something.

It really is like night and day. I quit reddit on Sunday when I noticed my feed was already looking empty. I’ve been here ever since and last night for the first time in a while I went to bed feeling happy with life. It’s amazing how I never noticed the toxicity that was seeping into my day.
