Same. For whatever reason Jellyfin just does not want to work outside of my network. I have fiddled with port numbers, settings, and everything else. I have no idea why it won’t work.

Does it get noticable hot?
Yeah, it was an impulse buy that worked out for a few years. Now that I need to replace it, I’m sure there are better options. Carhartt makes good stuff. I’ll check them out.
I wear under layers if I know that I’ll be out for long, thermals and what not. Heated feels pretty nice though.

I’ve used both. US mobile is much cheaper. It’s also monthly or annual. $220 for a year of unlimited data with hotspot is the best deal I’ve found. If you don’t need more than a couple gigs of data, you can go as cheap as $10/mo.
I won’t swear by US mobile, but so far, no regrets from me.
I recently tried duo lingo. I have a pretty strong background in Spanish, but want to brush up. It became apparent very quickly that the app is not about learning so much as keeping you in it. The lessons don’t make a ton of sense, and after not using app for a week, it demoted me to just 8 words that you would learn in your first class (hombre, el, agua, tu, etc.). There is no way to skip ahead.

ACLU. They fight back against shitty laws that repress freedom and equality.
I am now prepared to have my world shattered by someone with an actually…

Anno 1800 and other games like that. I don’t have the patience for the learning curve.

This shouldn’t be a fine. Be knowingly lied, which lead to death. Manslaughter. Prison.

More then 400 charge cycles? So like… All of them

Yup. We might take things a little further than normal, but start dropping the N-word or beating your spouse and that’s not the alcohol talking. You’re just an asshole.

It’s almost like we should have strong data privacy laws so companies can’t spy on everything we do…

Bidet.
Yeah. I said it.

71% profit loss and the stock is still waaaay up from a year ago. Our stock market is completely broken.
Thanks. I’ve got the content, so I’ll have to putter around with a few commands. I would love to be done with Plex.
Both. I was pretty tired when I last checked. My initial YouTube search turned up a bunch of installing other apps. Setting a port number…sure, I can do that. Installing other apps and settings… That’s a headache.
I’ll make another attempt when I get the energy, but thanks for the direction.
Pretty cool. If there was something between this and standard bloated Win 11, I would love that. It took me forever to uninstall/block half of the garbage that comes with the OS. It’s gotten ridiculous. Tiny 11 sounds like it scrapes just a little too much.
Yeah, yeah, I have Linux on another machine, but there are a number of things that I’m not technically proficient enough to figure out on Linux. He’ll, I’m still struggling to get Jellyfin to work remotely.
Couldn’t you just use a charcoal pencil or crayon instead?
Meh. Reddit had a very strong political bias.
Lemmy doesn’t have the same polish, it’s a little more difficult to create an account, and doesn’t have any marketing. Also success snowballs.
I respect the crap out of everyone that pitches in to make Lemmy as good as it is. But if I’m being real, I’m here to spite Reddit. Few people have that moral give-a-fuck. Spite is easy, following through to do something that is more challenging and pays nothing is not.
